Dishwashing towelettes

I read a tip where someone took the Dawn Dishwashing Towelettes with them on vacation. I can't find these now, does anyone have any other ideas like this?

I could never find them either But another DIS member posted that she took wipes and put dish soap on them and let them dry out. Instant dish washing clothes when wetted again! Throw them in a ziploc and you're all set!

WOW that is a great idea I just found the Dawn wipes in WALMART near the other dish soaps after looking for MONTHS! They didn't have ALOT so they MIGHT just be hard to get. ASK someone that works there.

I found travel packs of Palmolive dishwashing wipes at Big Lots in the cleaning area. There are 4 to a pack. Not bad for a $1

Darn - I just noticed that you leave very soon...otherwise I was going to offer shipping you a box. I couldn't find them anywhere around here so I bought a lot on ebay. Now I have 5 boxes (I gave one to my SIL) and I'm only taking 2 with us...

I have the Palmolive ones. I have done two things with them

1) if you have only washed a few things you can let it dry and use it a second time

2)cut them in half or quarters depending on what you will need to wash.

Great suggestions...especially since Palmolive doesn't make these anymore...must conserve!

I didn't know Palmolive didn't make the clothes any more. Good thing I over buy things when they are on sale---I have 4 boxes of them

I know - I actually emailed the company and they said there wasn't enough demand. I begged others here on the DIS to email them too so that they might bring them back and market them for travelers.

I do have one extra box of 20 Palmolive green dishwipes. If someone would like me to mail them out to them please PM me. I have to get a bunch of stuff out on Monday so I could throw them in the mix. There would be no charge...but I wouldn't be able to ship outside of the US (sorry ). I'll take the first person who PM's me they want them...
