DISers: You've just GOT to visit Costa Rica! You'd love it!

We just returned from a fantastic week in Costa Rica. It was so ironic that our last famiy vacation was to WDW, because we all kept saying, "This is just like ___ at Disneyworld, only it's real!"

We stayed at the Lost Iguana Resort near Arenal. It was like staying at the Poly...only all natural! Beautiful tropical plants and flowers everywhere, plus hummingbirds, toucans, and very noisy frogs. We drove our rented four wheel drive on very bumpy roads...like the safari at AK. We even crossed over bridges that were a bit too much like the creaky one on the Studios Tour at MGM. And yes, there was a Jungle Cruise...but the monkeys and crocodiles were real!

Costa Rica is truly an amazing country!

Thanks for posting. We have friends who have a house in Costa Rica and they absolutely love the country. I am glad to hear someone else liked it. We must get there sometime soon.
