DISers Stalking DISers...our end of June adventures!!

LOVE the Splash Mountain pic!!!
Love it too.

Maggie, Rags, Jackie, CK, Brittany, Mandy, Renee (hope I didn't forget anyone!)... I have really been enjoying the pics and stories. Maggie... that is too cute of Haley-bug on Splash!
I'm a little tossed about with picture of the rides I like the best, Splash or Dinosaur. I poked ryan at the time for it and made him scared and haley looks like a turtle in it.:rotfl2: I know I shouldn't laugh my brats but at times they are just so funny.

Maggie - I enjoyed your last couple of updates on your TR, especially how you made us wait for the next pic of Splash Mountain. Too cute!

Watched and learn, well read and learned from you and Courtney and a few others.

Kari- sorry that you didn't enjoy CM, glad that the kids didn't notice.
Not much of a complainer myself but had to the last week at school this year. It was awards day for the 7th graders and Me and my mother went to watch them and to see Haley get her awards for A honor roll for the whole school year. They never called her name. So went home and check over her last report card and sure enough she had made the honor roll. The next morning I went to the office and asked if someone would check Haley's past report card and progress reports(get one every tues) for the last nine weeks.
She went into the Princpal's office and a few mins later she came out and copied the report card and said the the Princpal would look into it. By noon they school's office called and said that they had overlooked her grades and appalagied? for their mistake and Haley would be getting an award. And she did the next school day.

What teasers you both are! SHARE!! I'll get the last 2 days of my TR up soon, so you can see expert b*tchin' at work! :rotfl2:

Ok - here's my little story...
Dana had never been on the Indy Racetrack - so we all decided to go on the night we were with my sister's family... Dana wanted to drive alone, but asked that Bob & I go in the car behind her...

The CM's were horsing around and not paying attention - Dana got in her car and took off and the kid in the car we were supposed to get on decided to take another turn and passed us by... The CM's were having too much fun joking with each other to watch and do their job...

SO.. we're standing there like idiots, and my sister and her daughter and her husband & son are in the next two cars - but they aren't letting them go, because the CM's couldn't figure out what went wrong, and why we were standing there instead of in a car... DUH --- there IS no car....

I pitched a fit - telling them that if they were doing their job and not horsing around they would have figured out the other kid went for a second drive, and now MY DAUGHTER is all by herself on the track, wondering where WE ARE....
(Bob's looking at me like - "Renee, lighten up, she'll be fine!", but I wouldn't look at him... I was "on a roll".... LOL)

Then they wanted to put us in another car, way back, but I told them, "NO! Then she'll be getting off the ride and NOBODY will be here and she'll wonder where we are!" (Of course, the way I was carrying on, you would have thought she was 3 and not 13.. once the "Mommy gene" kicks in, forgetaboutit..... but I digress.... :lmao: )

So, finally, the ride is over and Dana comes off and says, "where'd ya go?" as calm as can be... but I'm madder than you know what at the ride operators...
The "manager" comes over and apologizes left and right and then gave us a fast pass for our whole party (my sister's family too) for whatever we wanted to go on.. so we hightailed it back to Splash Mountain and forced my sister to ride it with us and all had a grand time... :cool1: (of course, Bob is shaking his head the entire time.. Sometimes he just doesn't "get it"...:rolleyes1 )

Today we decided to go back to MGM, since we didn't get a chance to get Jedi Mickey autograph and pics. We get there at opening, and head over to RNRC and TOT for fast pass and parent swap tickets, then ride both as wait times are 10 minutes each. Tucker and Wynn ride TOT a second time while Avery shops. We then slide over to Jedi Mickey. I leave Wynn and kids in line, and grab fast passes for Star Tours.

We go ride Star Tours, and in comes the Dream Team! We won the DVC membership! :rotfl2: Seriously, we won the landyards and pin set. We had been careful not to talk about or play up the Wishes thing, so the kids wouldn't be disappointed, so they had no clue what was going on. When we got off, the CM Avery had chatted with while waiting to board was waiting for us, and took us back through the back door... twice! 3 trips to the moon of Endor was quite enough! Exiting he gave both kids some little Lion King cards with Timon and Pumba safety rules on them. (If you rode the buses, they had bigger ones printed amongst the ads.) After this, we headed over to Muppets 3D and lunch at Pizza Planet, then to get autographs from Woody and Buzz. We then go use the passes for TOT and RNRC before heading out. Avery put this time to good use!

we then head out to drop shopping bags off at the hotel, and meet my SIL and nieces at MK. Wynn and Tucker posed in front of the sign on the way out. They are such Star Wars geeks! Tucker loved the R2D2 mailbox!

We get to MK around 4:00, and go by Tomorrowland for FP and parent swap for Space Mountain before meeting the fam in Toontown. We ride Goofy's Barnstormer and see Minnie's house. Next we go to Fantasyland and ride Snow White and Pooh. By this time it is 6:00, and we need to be at Poly around 7 for the luau, so we head out. Once at Poly, we have to wait in line for the first luau to finish before going into the Garden area, so the kids kick off their shoes and go running and playing in the grass. Oops! Big mistake! Within about 15 minutes all 5 kids are breaking out in hives and itching! Luckily... I have my emergency kit that everyone gives me such a hard time about! I whip out baby wipes to scrub their skin, and then coat on the Benedryl cream. Claire (8) scraped her ankle on a rock, but I have antibiotic bandaids. My SIL is very impressed with my kit! This pic is Wynn and the 5 kids in the garden waiting.

Anyhoo... we finally get seated, and out comes the food. It was incredible! I could have eaten a whole loaf of that bread all by myself! The kids enjoyed the luau for the most part, but it did drag out at times. Totally worth the wait for the fire twirler at the end! Tucker's seat was behind a big pole, so he went and shared Avery's seat with her. Avery (the little terd) was not one bit happy about it...

I think that one will emerge again someday!

SIL and Kate(2) left early to go back to their resort, and Amelia(10) and Claire(8) stayed with us to go to EMH in MK. We got there right when Spectro was getting ready to start, so we found a great spot near Tomorrowland to watch. Next we rode TTA 4 times while Wynn took Tucker and Amelia on Space Mountain. Have I ever mentioned how DULL I find that ride after the first time on it??? We all rode Buzz Lightyear... which broke down and we sat there over 10 minutes. Finally got out, and Wynn took Tucker and Amelia to BTMRR. I took Avery and Claire to Fantasyland where we rode Tea Cups, Snow White, Peter Pan x2, Small World, and Dumbo. We see Chip and Dale by Dumbo, so stopped for a quick pic. Avery loves playing with them!

It is now 1:15, so I call Wynn to meet us at Jungle Cruise. I found out they rode BTMRR 5X! (insert hurling smiley here!) We had just enough time to run to Pirates before they close the park. We get in line, and Claire tells me she has to pee. Well, I go commando when the parks are empty... especially right before closing... so I tell her we can't get out of line, and to hold it! :scared: Luckily we got through without incident! We got out of the park about 2:30, and back to CSR around 3AM. Wynn threw the kids through a shower while I took the girls to CBR. By the time I hit the bed that night it was 4AM! But boy... was it fun!

Wow Kari - what a great day! I can't believe they rode BTMR 5x in a row. We didn't even go over there on our late EMH and now I wish we did.

Absolutely love Avery's total enjoyment having Tucker sitting next to her. Why, yes, she does look like you!

You know what I like about you... not a dang thing! :rotfl2:

We get that look a lot... especially when we ask her to clean up or do something, and she's "just too tired to help." That one will be the death of me one of these days!

Oh come on...you know you love me Kari!

It must really be a girl thing. Brookie is a pain in the butt a lot of times and really thinks we should wait on her. I most certainly do not do that even if she is crying. She then sometimes can get her brothers to do her dirty work. I think she is going to have guys wrapped around her little fingers...

Avery is too mean to Tucker to have him wrapped! If she is laying on the couch, and he tries to sit on the other end, she will stretch her toes as far as she can until she is touching him, then whine because he is keeping her from stretching all the way out! I have even seen her scootch off the pillow when she can't quite reach! Quite the princess in training, that one is...

OMG...my two older kids do the exact same thing.. Elizabeth, (hard to put this nicely)is a real bxxxh when she wants to be:sad2: She is extremely mean to her brother. She does the same thing with the couch. She will purposely stretch out if she thinks he is going to sit down.

Kari - that photo of Avery is PRICELESS!!! :lmao: Definitately one to pull out on that "first date"!

I would have LOVED to ride BTMRR 5x straight!! That is my FAVORITE ride! We went back for late hours at MK, but we were too exhausted and didn't stay too long... I have to figure out a better way to plan that next time!

You go girl, with the "emergency kit"! I like a "prepared mom"!!!
(you were probably a Girl Scout, right?!) :lmao:

what a great day you had Kari. Will try to post again on Sun morning. Haley is having two friends over tomorrow to go see Hairspray and then do the mall thing and they are staying to night. Was to be three friends but one decided not to come.
