Hi Everyone! I FINALLY got some sleep last night! I wanted to tell you guys that I was playing cornhole with Doug last night and he got a good turn and said "D-Doug does it again!" I was cracking up! I said "did you just refer to yourself as D-Doug?"

We just got home from the zoo because Doug's on vacation this week. It was a wonderful day for it, mid 70s...a MUCH needed break from the 90s we've been having. Ugh...Karen and I burned up and sweated at Cincinnati Saturday. I think Nicolas is still a little young to really appreciate the zoo yet, but it was still fun. I think his favorite part was petting the goats.

Our thread is so quiet lately! I hope everyone is having a fun summer.

I don't think our summer has even started here yet. It has been raining for two weeks and there is nothing but rain forecasted for the next 7 days. We haven't seen sun in as long. I need to go south, but I'm stuck here in Maine. No vacation for me until November. But I'm hoping the 4th will surprise us and pull out a little bit of sun.

Who's next up in line for concerts.......anyone?

OK, I'm up to check starting last-minute tickets for the Houston show. It's just been so freaking hot here and miserable and I keep thinking "Ugh, out in THIS mess for a night??" Not to mention the Woodlands is about an hour away. But then I think "mmmm, NKOTB." (Homer Simpson)
But, I'm going to keep an eye out for some good deals. I've been told by Jason my ticket can be my birthday present.
CRUD!!! I just realized my in-laws are coming in town that weekend. UGH!!!! And we have it all planned to spend the weekend baby furniture shopping (guess where ... almost in the Woodlands earlier that day) and to maybe start painting.

Crystal, I'm soooooooo with you on the lack of summer. I can't stand it. It's Jul 2, it's still cool enough to be comfortable outside in long sleeves, and I'm pretty sure the sun doesn't exist. Maybe aliens abducted New England and put it on another planet. I keep hearing about sun and hot weather everywhere else, and we got nada here.

Hope everyone has something fun planned for the 4th. I swam down Storrow Drive to get to work today and saw them setting up everything for the Boston Pops Concert at the Hatch Shell. Wonder what the turnout will be like this year? Usually it's nuts, but I'm thinking the weather might deter some. OR maybe mud wrestling can be a new addition to the festivities! I don't think I'll be up to much. Weather's too iffy and my best friend is spending the weekend down in RI with her boyfriend and his family. SO looks like I'm catching a movie and getting take out. All the family and neighbors seem to be doing things elsewhere this year for a change. I feel so lame, lol.

I just keep thinking we're gonna end up with maybe a week of nice weather, and then it will start snowing in September. I swear to GOD I'm leaving MA and the rest of New England at that point. Danny Wood has the right idea...Boston may be home, but Miami is muuuuuuuuch more palatable.

Does anyone here know why Danny was ticked off at fans yesterday on Twitter? Are people actually upset about him talking about working out? For real? There must be more to it.


To those of you making ADR's what are you going? I want to go Sept. 29 - Oct 4 but I can't get confirmation on how much vacation time DH has. It has been driving me up the wall. And he doesn't want to even think about planning since he isn't sure if he can go. So I am making ADR's just in case. I want to try and talk him into Jiko, but he has never been interested before.

He should post pictures of himself working out.

I'll be in WDW 9/20-9/29. We're staying at POR for 4 nights, then a 3 night sail on the Wonder, and the last two nights at AKL. I had some trouble booking my ADRs. Le Cellier was booked solid and Ohana's was hard to get unless you wanted to eat at 9:30 at night.

Hey Lora! Definitely try Jiko, we LOVE it! Awesome filet, halibut and short ribs. MMMMM, yummy!!! Great wine list, too, if you are a wine drinker. We are hopefully going September 2-9. Everything is booked but the flighhts. I can't do the air until I know for sure my hubby wil be home on R&R from Iraq then. We are hoping to spend our 10th anniversary there. We have the following ADR's:

9/3 Crystal Palace (bfast before park opens)
9/3 Tony's (thinkig of cancelling this one)

I just had to quickly share that we went out to dinner tonight with Doug's Dad and Stepmom and they were getting in the back seat trying to buckle up with Nicolas in his car seat back there. His stepmom said "ok, click click" Doug looked at me and said "Click, Click, Click..." I told him I was so proud of him!!! He's only heard the CD a couple times just this past weekend.

Hi everyone!! We've been busy around here, have finally had some nice weather over the last week or so and I'm actually getting super tan! My diet has been HORRIBLE but starting Monday I am back on it again. Too much has been going on.

We went camping yesterday, today we had a pool party, tomorrow we have another one...you get the picture.

On our way camping yesterday I was in a car accident. It's the first time in my life I was the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident. We are all fine as is the other driver and his two kids but I was (am) very upset about it. I have a feeling it will be considered 'no fault' because neither of us got tickets. You never know though. I was pulling out through bumper to bumper traffic, someone was letting me out. I had to pull through them and turn left (the opposite direction that the crazy traffic was going). They were all going to the right. Anyway, I edged through the traffic slowly to turn into the lane that had absolutely NO traffic and barely any cars. The driver of the car that let me go through appeared to wave me through, I looked and looked then proceeded slowly and then went. Sure enough some guy came along and slammed into me at full speed. They may say it was my fault, I don't know. He hit my back passenger quarter panel which means I was 3/4 of the way out before he hit me. Why didn't he stop when I first started to pull out at a snail's pace???? I was just happy he hit me then because if it had been sooner it would have been right into Noah's door.

I was pretty shaky afterwards but sucked it up and tried to put it out of my mind as best I could. So, that was my excitement!

Slowly but surely my daughter is and will become a NKOTB addict. I have The Block in the cd player in the car and she's been requesting #17 and #3, in that order. She also has to listen them at least 3x each. Thank God I have a seek button on the steering wheel for the player so I don't have to keep reaching over. I just have to get her to listen to the greatest hits and I'll be all set.

Time to do some .

Oh, I know! I was surprised to see we were next to each other in the pic! I had no clue! I know I looked at you when you saw Jordan and walked toward him (because I was just waiting for Donnie to turn around), but after that, I didn't have a clue what was going on around me.

OK, girls. Called WDW just now and canceled our BW weekend stay for December. Had a great code rate too!
I'll bring myself to cancel DVC sometime tomorrow (baby steps here, baby steps). I figure I will be able to handle it better after the big ultrasound ... tomorrow's the day! Will it be baby Jonas or Sydney? I can't believe we will know in 21 hours. Then again, that's as long as he/she is being cooperative!
