OK, girls. Called WDW just now and canceled our BW weekend stay for December. Had a great code rate too!
I'll bring myself to cancel DVC sometime tomorrow (baby steps here, baby steps). I figure I will be able to handle it better after the big ultrasound ... tomorrow's the day! Will it be baby Jonas or Sydney? I can't believe we will know in 21 hours. Then again, that's as long as he/she is being cooperative!

How exciting!!! I remember the day of my big ultrasound. Let us know as soon as you find out! LOVE the name Sydney! Do you have any kind of feeling of the sex? I always felt like Nicolas was a boy. I also remember the day I cancelled our Disney cruise because I was pregnant, and I know it's hard!

OMG, I forgot Daniel's last name is Jonas! haha. Oh boy.

What is even more amusing is at first, we were planning on going with the name Grace for a girl. Then when we were going through a baby name book, Jason said he liked Sydney as he came across it ... he had no clue it is the name of the other baby on Days!

I hate to say I have a feeling of one sex over the other since I have a 50/50 shot of being wrong. For the longest time, I kept thinking a boy, but we'll see.

We didn't find out the sex of either of our kids when I was pregnant but I KNEW that Noah was a boy and Becca was a girl. Just that mother's intuition.

Just chilling out before the kids go to Vacation Bible School at 6pm. We were swimming all dat so just hanging out right now feels so good. I don't know what I'm going to do for 3 whole hours while they're gone!

I do know that there is one downside to VBS, I have to pick them up right smack in the middle of The Bachelorette!!! I know, I'm pathetic!

Angey... I can't wait to hear what you are having! So exciting!!! And I love the names Jonas and Sydney. Great choices!!!

Speaking of Jonas... we are supposed to be going to see the Jonas Brothers concert on Wednesday night in Minneapolis but I sold our tix. We have so much going on and have our family reunion/vacation at our cabin in Minnesota starting Friday. The concert is in Minneapolis, so I would have had to be ready to go to the lake for a week 2 days early and would have to board the dog and cat for 2 more nights. So, no Joe Bros this summer, but I am sure we will have a chance to see them again in the near future.

Sadly, I don't think there will be any Full Service for me. Chicago and Wichita didn't work out and those were the closest shows... over a 6 hour drive for each. We nixed Vegas when we couldn't get 5* and really I don't want to bein Vegas in July. Too hot!!! I would love to go to Denver to see them next week and see two of my good friends, but we will be at the lake with my inlaws. Only other option is flying to Texas which I would LOVE to do, but would have to fly the day I leave the cabin and that is a long time to be away from home. So, sadly, no NKOTB this summer for me. I have seen them 5 times in concert since October and met them at the Mall of America, so I should be happy with that, but I am still totally bummed out!!! Donnie just tweetd today that summer isn't even close to being over. Hope that means I will still get a chance to see them!

OK... I am off to do more laundry so I can start packing for the lake. Have a great week everyone!!!

Heather~ That totally stinks about not getting to go to a concert.

I haven't been around much but need to get back in the NKOTB love. My 5* is on Thursday and I'm not all excited about it. I'm just kind of like "eh whatever"....what is wrong with me? Oh and to top it off I have a bruised lip that looks like I have a nasty cold sore on it. So I guess making out with Donnie will not be happening

And the verdict is ... boy! First one in my family. And the ultrasound tech said there is no questioning, it is a boy. Doctor said the same thing, so I hope they are right because we are going to register this weekend for our pirate bedding.

I decided against the concert next weekend. It's just so freaking hot and bring in the fact my in-laws will be in town and I've seen the guys once already this year, I just decided against it.

When you register, make sure you also register for any big ticket items that you know you want, even if you don't expect anyone to buy them for you, because I know Target and I think maybe even Babies R Us does a promotion where you save a certain % on anything you registered for and didn't get after your shower is over. Just a little money saving tip for you!

Awesome, thanks for the advice! We are also going to register for a lot of small stuff that can be "traded in" toward big ticket items too. We did that for our wedding registry and it worked out great!

We already got our travel system on our own since we are a TAD impatient. There was a back order of the new Chicco systems around here so we reserved one as soon as it came in. Our nightmare was there would be another back order just in time for when we needed it.

We're ordering the furniture the day of the NKOTB concert here. I'll be like 10 miles from the venue during the day. I wonder how I will control myself.

Happy Birthday Angey!!!! Hope it has been wonderful!!!

I had the only major emotional break down of my first pregnancy while we were baby furniture shopping... just to warn you! However my situation was a little different, so you will be fine! Brian was getting ready to deploy to Kosovo and I was due to have the twins about a month after he left. His parents were over visiting us in Germany right before he left and we were shopping for a changing table (German changing tables are the best!!!) and the first of many double strollers we have owned! Anywho, I think I finally realized just how hard it was going to be to have two babies on my own when Brian didn't want to spend the extra money to get the double jogger with the seats that reclined all the way down. Right there in the middle of the German baby store I broke down, sobbing. I think my inlaws thought I had COMPLETLY lost it! I can laugh about it now, but at that moment I did not think I would make it through his deployment alive!!! BTW, I got the stroller I wanted after that.

Tonight has been crazy. Found out that the person that was supposed to buy our Jonas Brothers tickets from my sister in law (we are supposed to be going with her and her kids) is not going now. I don't want the tickets to go to waste, so now we are going... again! That means that I have to get everything done for our week long vacation tonight! We have to leave here by 2:00 tomorrow to get to the concert. I have found all the kids' lake stuff (it was still packed from the move), am finishing laundry, cleaning up the house, packing and pretty much going crazy! Tomorrow morning I have to finish everything, drop the dog and cat off to be boarded and finish packing. Whew... I am going to be ready for a cocktail by tomorrow night!!!

Hope everyone has fun at their concerts! I won't be on here much in the next 10 days but will be on Twitter.

Have fun at your concert, Heather!! We're headed there on 7/23. We're actually taking the train (my first time!) to Philly and spending the night and all. TOTAL girl's weekend! Can't wait to hear about it!! Have a fun vacation too!!!

I got tickets tonight for Noah and I to go to the American Idol concert. I was going to go with a whole group but it got to be a problem to get the tickets. Becca was going to be coming too but it just wasn't working out. I didn't want to spend the extra money, last time Noah almost got trampled at the end and he's a LOT bigger than Becca. I remember thinking last year it was a good thing she wasn't there. Anyway, we got tickets right on the side of the stage, row A. (not floor but lower level) It's REALLY at the side though, but we're happy. Just want to see my man, Danny!!!

I got all of Becca's cheerleading stuff. Oh my gosh, she is going to look so cute!!! She had to get specific sneakers and everything. Oh my gosh, it's a lot of $$$. Is it wrong that I hope she doesn't want to do it again next year?

I'm just babbling. Sorry! I don't know what my problem is!

Hope you're all doing well and having a good summer so far. Who has concerts left???
