Disembarking question…what time to arrange for transportation back to port?

Hello, what time is recommended for private transportation back to the airport? We will be leaving from the WISH, have early dining-so we will have the first breakfast, but once the ship is cleared, will need to claim our luggage (based on assigned character) and then go through customs (2 of us have passports, 5 will have birth certificates). We are not Concierge, so cannot have that option, and I do not think it will be manageable to take our luggage with us as we leave the ship.

Our flight isn’t until 1:50, so I’m not worried at all about how fast does this happen. I’m more worried about not telling the car service “too early, or too late”.

I'd just go with 9 am. Assuming that your ship isn't delayed in docking (it can happen but that's unusual at PC) you'll have eaten on off the ship by about 8:30. It doesn't take that long to gather the bags and clear customs.

The car service should be familiar with the routine at the port and adjust if the ship gets delayed.

We tend to try and stay on the ship as long as possible, just absorbing the last bits of atmosphere to hold us over until the next cruise. Typically, they start strongly encouraging guests to disembark by 9 am. A perk of this is that most others have gone through and it's very easy to find your luggage in the pick-up area. On our last three cruises, we've done this and were on our private transportation at 9:30. This was true for us at both Port Everglades and Port Canaveral.
