Disembarking in Puerto Rico

I’m thinking of booking a tour guide after our cruise ends in Puerto Rico. Ashore time is listed as 8:30 and we’d have late seating breakfast. What time would be reasonable to schedule a car service pickup? Does it change our timing if we keep our luggage with us?

Disembarking in San Juan is super laid back. We've done it several times. There are always a long line of taxis of all sizes, so you might not need a car service. We have a family of 6 with prodigious amounts of luggage and have always been able to get a cab no problem.

That said, if you need to book a car, you can do the walk-off bit, which is first off the boat, to ensure you are off right at 0830. Might want to call DCL to confirm that time first.

Cheers!
