First time cruiser (Wonder, San Diego to Vancouver, May 18th) and wondering how disembarking works. All the itinerary says is arrival in Vancouver at 8 a.m. Other than leaving our main luggage outside the door the night before with luggage tags (we are taking Disney transfer to airport), are we assigned departure times? Is it a free for all? What are the breakfast options with the dining rooms, buffet or room service?

I already know about making sure we've settled out trip bill the day before (we have a credit card on file and I also have downloaded the navigator app to my phone). Just not really clear on how the last day works.

You will get colored tags for your luggage, and your color will have a set time to disembark. You head out of your stateroom (with your carry-on(s)), grab some breakfast, and wait for your color to be called. Inside Canada Place, there will be sections for each color where you'll pick up your luggage.

Main dining has the 1st breakfast 6:45ish?? . Late dining has 2nd breakfast 8:00ish?? Typically you eat in the dining room where you had dinner the night before. Cabanas/Beach Blanket is also open from 6:30-8:00ish.
Room service closes around midnight the last night- you can pre order coffee, fruit and danish if you want to eat in your cabin.
You will receive luggage tags with different characters on each tag REMEMBER!! what character is on your tag. This is how you will find where your bags are in the terminal.
Your bags will need to be outside your stateroom dooe by 10pm the night before. **I put my dirty clothes in the suite case as the week goes on. It makes packing much easier the last night:)
They want you out of your cabin by 8am and off the ship by 9am.

Anddd before you get in line for customs make sure you have all your paperwork filled out and have everyone in your party's passports out and ready to hand to the customs agent.

They usually have a detailed video explaining the procedures. It plays in a continuous loop the last day. It helps you with customs declarations, packing, breakfast, etc. It is a pretty smooth process. Just don't try to arrange follow-on transportation too close to arrival time. But you get your last meal, pick up your bags and then you are on your own. For sure a sad day.

We did the express walk off and it was super easy. Doing the normal disembark only saves you taking your luggage down a few flights of stairs and if you get an early start the elevators are empty so that's no thing.

Yeah, you can carry your own luggage off. But if you need an elevator, definitely be early. If you wait until just before breakfast, the elevator line resembles the one at Test Track on a Saturday in July.

It's very easy. I put out my luggage before we went to dinner so I could have it done with. Next morning we were at breakfast at 7:30 and took our time. Picked up my rum, and headed off. Took me a minute to find all the luggage and then went fairly quickly through customs. It was sad but easy.

I was just going to ask about doing it all myself. Once we dock, I like to grab my stuff and get out, in the car and on the road.
