Alright, so new thread idea. . .

This thread will be a conversation between all of us, with one note. . .all posts must be in the form of a quote from a movie.

"The only rule is, there ain't no rules" (that's from Grease, it's a freebie)

No, seriously, let's carry on a full and complete conversation using other people's words.

The conversation doesn't need to make sense, and minor paraphrasing is allowed. Citation is not required.

One person posts, then the next person carries it on. We're guys, this shouldn't be hard.

Bonus points for Disney quotes.

I'll start. . .

"You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first base. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. Do you know what that makes you? Larry?"

Can we play name that movie? Bull Durham

I have seen the Grail. It is here at Castle Anthrax.

Sure, good call. . .name the movie last cited. . .and continue. . .

Monty Python's Holy Grail

Remember Danny; the shortest distance between two points is a straight line…
    In the opposite direction.

Like the idea of this game, but I got’a admit I don’t know that last one…
I could cheat and look it up, but I’ll wait for someone to catch it instead.

"Do you even know how to kill me, Jimmy?"

"I'm gonna cut your $!@&&-- head off"
That was a tough one. . .had to look it up. Sabretooth to Wolverine and the response.

"Boring conversation anyway. . .LUKE, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE COMPANY"

    Hercules. Good Disney Movie quote.

Sorry about the other. Wolverine: Origins just popped into my head.

Four of you tried to kill me. One of you succeeded.
No, no… good quote. I just don’t watch a lot of comic-book films so I didn’t recognize it. Actually what we need is to get a few more dads over here so that some of them might pick up some of the stuff from genres that the others might not know.

    Now then…
    Back to the game!

You stumped me. I looked it up. Mister Roberts? Never seen it.

    Too early Dom.

    Still a buster.

At least we know you can't beat me straight up.

I didn't know there were any rules.

So does the quote that one uses need to make sense in the context of the previous quote? That would kinda be important if it's supposed to resemble a conversation.

As Matt originally called it… Nope.
But I ain’t against trying to have it make a smidgen of sense.
The only rule I’m following (for now) is to “try” not to look it up and only call out the ones I do know.
That’s not an actual rule either, but just the “Guideline” I’m following for now.

    So…
Do you know where Norm’s last quote came from (and want to join in)?

Definitely in, but nope- I don't know that one either.

I cheated and googled it. Sorry, let me rephrase, I tried to look it up, couldn't find it.
