Discussion with Host_Hula about Green and Yellow Car Quests

UPDATED: If you have already read this, I went back in and asked for more info. (Hey, I can't get yellow or green car, so I might as well stand in Host lines, right? lol!)

I told her that I really enjoy the quests and that they are a lot of fun.

Hula: I am glad you are having fun.
Me: They have changed the green and yellow car quests.
Hula: I know.
Me: The new needed score in fireworks is almost not possible. We need a perfect score. Why has this requirement been made?
Hula: I know. And I cannot say why they did that.
Me: That score is basically impossible. Seems not fair.
Hula: They are looking at it. And do not be surprised if you see it change again.

And then? She dc!!! Seriously.

EDIT: I got back in the room and she took my question first. Very nice I must say.

Me: So, do you think that it will be changed back to a score that is able to get?
Hula: I do not know.
Me: So you do not know why this was done?
Hula: Jegrezo, no I'm sorry. It was not a host decision. I had nothing at all to do with it.
Me: It is really not fair. I understand a challenge, but to make a score that is so high that no on can get it, takes away the fun.
Hula: I understand. They are also aware.
Me: Do you think they will change it back?

And then - she dc again. A CL_ behind me said she was there to ask the same question.

But, there you have it. Now, my question is: When she says, "they," isn't she part of "they"? Are hosts employees?

Anyway, at least there seems to be some indication that they may lower it. I did not get to finish my discussion with her due to dc, but, it is something - I guess.

I am going to wait to work on last two cars, not that I can get them now anyway - LOL!

Here's a thought, what is many, many, many people went in and asked that? About 10 minutes apart so she could not say you were in the room and saw the answer. Gee, I wish I knew where I could find a large group of people to do so....

Hosts are employees, sure, but they don't build or change VMK. They make games and give out prizes.

The score in fireworks for the green car is now 300,000 which is not impossible, but I don't think it has been done without cheating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the best players, including WDWTigger and NaviNap have even broke the 300,000 score.

I understand setting the goals high but not so high that it is impossible for even the best players in the game.

Correct. 300,000 is a perfect score. It has never been reached and it virtually (no pun intended) not attainable. My discussion with Hula was about the fact that challenging goals for top prizes are great - out of reach by all reasonable standards is no longer fun and defeats the fun --- and magic.
