Ah yes there are 6 of us 3 adults and 6 kids so it will be £1158 for one day.
i can cancel flex tickets but would still need to buy universal tickets so its not going to save much

We loved it! They ve added a reef since then too!

I think Sea Venture is underwelming and I found annoying that the Sea Venture picture package is not included in the already overpriced dolphin picture package.
If you want to save a bit, cut it with no remorse.

We plan on doing it next August but as we feel we won't have time to do Seaworld etc, we won't be using the other portion of the tickets. Which makes DC ridiculously pricey . But, we've decided to go for it as I can't see us returning to Orlando anytime soon after this trip and I think DC just looks very different to anything you can do in this country!

We loved our day there in 2012 and definitely want to go back.

If you have the money, on top of what you are already spending, the private cabanas are sooooooo relaxing and amazing. You have your own little private space, a hut with ceiling fan, your own fridge filled with drinks, your own locker in the hut, a basket filled with snacks all day long and a person that will run and get you anything you want so you don't have to. It has a table and 4 chairs under the ceiling fan then 2 loungers. We were over by the sting rays and the kids played in the sand at the foot of our deck, could go in the water and we could still see them.

In my opinion, the private space made the day even more special. It was the best 180.00 we spent all vacation.

And my kids loved Disney (it was their first trip) but they talk about Discovery Cove more!!!

We went in 2005 and 2009 and both times the day was our kids favourite day of the holiday!

I have recently booked for our next trip in October, with a great discount by purchasing an annual pass for Aquatica for one person.

With an Annual Pass for either Sea World, Bush Gardens or Aquatica a pass Member and up to 6 guests can make a reservation at the following discounted rates:

$169: Dolphin Swim Day Resort Package
$99: Day Resort Package with no dolphin swim

The ticket does not include any additional days at Sea World; but as we are not at all interested in Sea World that worked out great for us.

I bought an annual pass for Aquatica as it was the cheapest Annual Pass!

Even if we do not visit Aquatica at all, the discount we got (for 6 people) was so much higher than the cost of the annual pass for one person.

I called Discovery Cove before purchasing the annual pass to make sure that they had discounted rates available for the day we were going - VERY IMPORTANT as it is not available on all dates!

I would suggest you check the Sea World website for the most updated information and call Discovery Cove to check dates and for confirmation before going this route.
