Discovery Cove - what to do before 9am?

I'm going to Discovery Cove next week for the first time (soooo excited!!!) I've read everywhere that you should get there early so you can get an earlier time for the dolphin swim but other than eating breakfast, is there anything to do before 9am? Is the aviary open early or does it open at 9am as well?

The aviary and water attractions all open at 9. So before that time, you can check in, get your dolphin swim time assigned (assuming you booked that component), have your family photo taken, eat breakfast, get a locker, get sized for your wetsuit or vest, pick up your snorkel bags, get changed into your swimming attire and sunscreen yourself well. Sometimes they will have an animal ambassador or two out to greet park guests while they wait for the 9 am opening of the various attractions. Other than that, its waiting and relaxing.

All those things mentioned above do take a little more time than it seems like. YOu won't be bored for sure.
