Hi All,

Quick question please.

We are going to Discovery Cove in May and have the 14 day passes to SW / BGT / Aquatica with this. Last time we went we definately had to swap a voucher for an actual pass for these extra's but the voucher / bit of paper we have received this time says it is 'turnstile ready' on it and does have a barcode. Is that actually the case or will we still get a 'proper' ticket when we present it at one of the other parks?

Thanks,
Fi

The paper voucher with the bar code is your actual ticket.

If you visit DC first, you can also use your DC photo ID card for entry to the other parks, in lieu of the paper tickets.

Gina, to make sure I understand what you said, you get a photo ID card from DC that can be used for future visits at SW and Aquatica? I hope that is the case because I don't see the pieces of paper with the barcode holding up to well over the course of a week's use.

Correct. If you visit DC first, you get a hard plastic ID card on a lanyard that doubles as you SeaWorld and Aquatica entry ticket.

If you visit SW or DC first, then you use the paper tickets/vouchers that are emailed to you in PDF format and you print at home. They definitely can get rather ratty over the course of a one or two week trip! We kept ours in a sealed baggie to protect them from getting wet.

What I don't know is if you can start with the paper tickets for entry, then switch to your DC ID card after your DC visit (if it falls in the middle of your trip). Perhaps someone else will have the answer to that.

Thank you very much for your help - I thought the same about it getting a bit ratty but I'm sure it will be fine.

but what about BGT - will they take the DC card or does the paper voucher need to last 'til we get to Tampa?
