Discovery Cove -- So glad I didn't get the Cabanna.

Family of 4 -parents with two ten year olds.. I am so glad I did not get the Cabanna. There was plenty of umbrellas for shade, which was what I was concerned about. Secondly, if you go to do the activities, they will keep you busy. We checked in at 7:30 and we had to drag the kids out of the water at 5:30. The only time we sat was to eat. They are very nice though and if you bring small kids, elderly, or people that just want to rest, they would be a nice option. For us, I was glad we didn't do it.

Are you allowed to check-in as early as 7.30am and then eat inside the park? As the park hours show it opening at 9am.

Yes, check the park hours but the day we were there the park opened at 8:30. Our dolphin swim was at 8:40. We ate, got our wet suits and just had enough time to get to the swim. With the storms in the summer was glad to have the early dolphin swim
