Our trip is 10 days away! We are going for a week and plan to go to Disney World, Sea World and Aquatica. We have been to Disney and Sea World before, so we are definitely not first timers. My twins are 9 years old (boy & girl). Trying to decide if we should go to Discovery Cove or Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We went to Discovery Cove 2 years ago. My husband and I loved it, but my kids complained about the snorkel and wet suit. They are 2 years older now and better swimmers, so maybe they would have a better time. They did like the sand, the birds and the lazy river. We would not be doing the dolphin swim, just the park.

We went to MNSSHP 3 years ago. It was fun, but my husband thought it was expensive for fireworks, parade, special characters and candy. My kids were younger and really loved seeing the characters at the time, but now they are much less interested in the characters.

Decisions, decisions.....I can really only choose one. I am leaning towards Discovery Cove. We will already be going to the Magic Kingdom. Discovery Cove is very different from the theme parks. My husband also would rather go to DC, but is hesitant because my son is saying he doesn't want to go (he would be happy to spend the entire week at Disney Quest playing video games  ) My daughter is agreeable to going.

Thank you!

Tough call!

If you have a go-go-go kind of vacation planned, then I would lean toward DC just because it would give you a relaxing day to offset some of the busy-ness.

Ultimately, I would probably sit the entire family down and get input from everyone, then decide together as a group. You have two great choices to pick from, so whatever you end up deciding on, its going to be a great time :) .
