We've been to DC a number of times, before we had kids we did the dolphin swim twice. Since having kids we usually just do the day resort package.
I'm thinking of doing the dolphin swim with the kids this time, even though we are from Australia my kids still can't swim very well - they go to lessons but it's taking time for them to get there.
When we go in May 2025 they will be 9 and 6, has anyone had experience with kids and the dolphin swim that can't swim?
I know they have the life jacket on so that's fine but just wondering what to expect from it when they are kids.

No kid experience, but my adult friend doesn't swim. For the fin pull, there is a shallow water option for non-swimmers. The rest of the experience is always shallow water, standing in waist deep water at the edge of the lagoon.

We did the experience last week. My kids can swim, but are 13, 11, and 9. The only part when we were in water up to my kids waist was for the dolphin pull part.

thanks, I ended up just doing the resort pass again. We do really enjoy just bobbing around the lazy river.
