Discovery Cove best time to swim with dolphins?

We are going to Discovery cove in our next trip and have booked the half hour swim with dolphins. How does this work with regards ti times etc?

Do you get to chose your time slot or is it just allocated when you get there?

Also if you do get to chose which time is best?

From what I've read, you get to pick what time slot you want, but obviously it'll be first come first served.
We're planning to be there for opening time not only to get a decent time slot, but to have a nice breakfast before the day of relaxation begins

Yep, you pick when u chk-in. If you are among the first in, open choice. Come later...fewer chioces. People tend to ask for the earlier slots in our experience....anxious I guess. Or they worry the thing may be canx. Other than a lightning storm, I've never heard of it happening....
