Discovery Cove and the seven day admission to Sea World

Trying to put an itinery together for October (taking quiet days into account etc.) and wonder if somebody can advise on this point.

We have booked DC for halfway through our two weeks in the area. We have seven consecutive days entrance to SW included with the DC ticket. Can you start this at any time you like before the actual DC day or does the seven days have to be all before or all after?

For example, the Brit Guide to lightest days at Sea World in October says they are on Monday and Tuesday. I fancy starting the ticket on the Tuesday so we can have another day at SW the following Monday. Will they allow that?

It can be before or after, but the 7 days start from the day you activate it. if going to DC first, you show seaworld your DC lanyard, if going to seaworld first you show them your DC confirmation letter.
