Discover the Magic Tour - Some Questions

Has anyone done this tour? Is lunch still included as the Disney site doesn't mention it, just says that you will get a frozen drink!

Would be interested to hear about recent experiences. What did you do, see, ride etc..

Also is it suitable for a 4.5yo?

I would need to book this tomorrow (30 days out), so want to decide asap.

Hi there fellow aussie- I too am interested in doing the tour... maybe it's only us 'tourists' who do it

I am interested in answers but I'll probably do it regardless, let's face it we don't get to that side of the world too often, so i intend to cram our time with lots of different experiences...

I'm very sorry to say that I wasn't that impressed with the tour. We did it this past May, myself and three kids (5, 7 and 15). We were the only ones in the group. Our tour guide was a sweet girl, but the whole storyline felt very forced. My two young ones enjoyed themselves, but it certainly wasn't anything that left a lasting impression. Even getting the AP discount, I really didn't feel it was worth the money. I think you'd be better off spending your money on a character meal and putting together some clue/puzzles yourself or getting a book about Hidden Mickey's and do it on your own. I was really looking forward to the tour and really tried to get into it, but it seemed more like a chore.

Now, if you can afford it, I would recommend doing a VIP Tour, especially if you're going during a busy time or have a limited amount of time there. Unfortunately the price has drastically increased since we did it, but if you have a large group, it could still be feasible.
