Discover It card: Anyone used to Purchase Disney gift cards from Sams of BJ's this month & 5% back?

Hubby and I are looking into cash back cards and I just read that until the end of March you can get 5% back on grocery stores with Discover IT card. It LOOKS like that includes Wholesale clubs like Sams and BJ's.

If so, has anyone done this? Do I have until the end of this month to get the cards? I know they are on the BJ's website now. I also know the double the cash back in your first year so potentially 14% discount with the club discount and cash back - if my math is right.

Thoughts?

Does not include wholesale clubs and even if it did you probably wouldn't get the card in time

The other posters are correct. I own this card and wholesale clubs are not included for the grocery cash back

What is included/excluded in the “grocery stores” category?
The “grocery stores” category excludes purchases made at convenience stores, gas stations, wholesale clubs, supercenters, discount stores and any grocery stores associated with supercenters or discount stores. Purchases made using tap-and-pay, mobile or wireless card readers, virtual wallets or similar technology also may not be eligible.

They are also correct in that even it they DID count, the quarter closes on March 31st, you would not receive your card in time to qualify for this quarter. You would open the quarter with Gas stations, Lyft and Uber. It took about a week for my card to come after I was approved.

July - September will be restaurants
October - December will be Amazon.com

So the rest of the year is not looking good either for opportunities for discounted gift cards. I'm not sure when your trip is, but wanted to inform you on the other quarters so you know.
