Discounts for Police Officers

I have heard that discounts are available to military, teachers and nurses. Are there resort discounts for police officers?

The Swan and Dolphin are the only 'on site' resorts that offer those discounts. The rates are pretty good....DH looked into it, he is a PO...the rates for around XMAS (starting on 12.16.06) were 50% off rack...it is worth looking into....but know that the Swan and Dolphin do NOT participate in Magic Express, you cannot charge to your room from parks, and you cannot use the dining plan.

just wanted to add that when you go and use the discount youwil be asked for your ID . My DH is a FF and we were asked at check for it and then we were bumped to concierge for free and he was told " thank you for all you do " Thought that was nice : )

That's great of the Swan and Dolphin to do that.

Some of the WDW resorts should offer something like that to our finest in blue.

back in 2001 they did. My DH is a NYC PO and it was called the heroes special. Half off of the mod. resorts and my DH got a free hopper pass. The rest of the family was 50% off for the hopper passes. At that time we could book up to three rooms. That had to be our cheapest trip to Disney EVER. I wish they would still do that....
