Discounts available 1st half of April, but not 2nd half???

Does that make any sense?

There are discounts available for the period from 3/30 - 4/12, but then nothing the rest of the month. It my mind I think that would be reversed. Aren't there probably still spring breaks going on the next few weeks, but fewer the 2nd half of April?

Why are they working to get heads on pillows the 1st half and not the 2nd. Will the 2nd half of April be more crowded???

Everything I've read indicates that the heads are already there. Seems to be very busy the 2nd and 3rd weeks of April. Lots of our northern friends are having spring breaks and the resorts are filling up. No empty rooms, no discounts offered. When we booked our DVC room 7 months ago there was hardly any availability for most of April. It was strange since Easter was in March. We are going April 27th and availability seems to be a little easier into early May. I checked the AP website for several of our disboard friends and there just wasn't very much available in April even with an AP rate. May, no problem.

most of the metro NY area has spring break for passover, the week of april 20. i noticed some of the extended holiday dining hours were announced for easter week and for the passover week, so i suspect that is a good indicator of anticipated crowds.
