Discounts at Disneyland Hotel for annual pass holders?

I read on the Disneyland hotel website that there are discounts for pass holders, but it isn't stated what they are. (??)

Any ideas?

It varies greatly. There is a calendar available for AP holders that shows the rates during particular times about three months out. Is there a set of dates you're looking into specifically? I could look up the rates for you.

If we buy our annual passes this weekend so we can make our reservations with the AP info and get the discount, do our AP begin this weekend or on the first day we go to the park?

Your AP's begin the day you first use them at the parks, not the day you actually purchase them. Also, you can make the reservation with the AP rate over the phone now without having an AP, you just need to have an AP at the time you check in!
