Discounts at deluxe hotels?

We recently returned from our first trip to disney world as a family (I've been before, rest of family had not), and everyone loved it!


My question is this: in the past, have there been discounts available for the deluxe resorts, or is it just for budget, or what?

Yes, the deluxe resorts usually have a greater percentage discount from what I have seen. Mousesavers.com has a historical listing of offers made.
