I really need to get my act together and make a decision about when I want to do my next solo trip.
Originally I was going to book a mid-october trip and do F&W and MNSSHP.

Now I'm thinking maybe I should go in September and just do MNSSHP to get the room discount. Then I could do F&W another year. I can't go at the end of September with both my kids birthdays at the beginning of October and I need to prepare for those.
What to do, what to do.....

Maybe I should just book it for September and if room only discounts come out for October and I decide to go then, I can cancel September and change to October.

Aaack. Somebody tell me what to do!

LOL...I'm having the same problem! Really want to go in October, but I'm thinking of booking for the last week of September in case there are not any good discounts...I don't know what to do either!!!

Just got off the phone with Disney reservations.

We were looking at a 2 bedroom villa from Aug 15th-21st. We were looking at Saratoga and OKW....but as we talked to the wonderful cast memeber- she was shocked when BLT- 2 bedroom showed up under the code. We couldn't believe it. It is about $500 more then we were going to spend at Saratoga- but so worth it.

I was just told the same thing, can't apply to room only because we are booked as a package. We have a 2 bed villa at BLT. I asked if we could just rebook, but now it shows no more 2 bed villas are even left!

I'm thinking that a more experienced CM can take care of it, since you already have the room type that you want.

Calling back worked for us and saved more than $600. (I think that's enough for a trip extension, but probably shouldn't try for that - we'll just use the money somewhere else at the parks).

Thanks for pin info. I just booked yesterday with the pin I had that was 30% off CBR but it didn't cover a couple of my days. I was going to call and see if maybe getting 25% off all my days would save me some money. I also am hoping I can get a preferred room this time.

I have a question.....if I book on the 1st of October, will the discount extend for the length of my stay. I know that they do that for FD. I am trying to avoid September due to the heat. We were there in September and the heat was just unbearable.

Unfortunately No.............unlike FD Room discounts are only good for dates specified and ends on Oct 1st.

I am curious when did you go in September, I was leary to about booking but after checking the weather history for the past 3 years 2008-2010 and seeing how unpredictable it was, I decided to take my chances and booked Sept 26-Oct2.

Darn....I had that feeling. We went from September the 11th until the 19th. The heat just exhausted us from day one. I hate to do it but I guess I will book for the end of September and hope that they will extend the dates or come out with another offer so I can switch the dates. My daughters school has a week off on the second week of October...... so the heat index is less and she would not miss school.

We were originally scheduled to be there from August 8 - August 22 in a Standard Club Level Room, however that reservation was without any discounts only until something better came along.

Just spoke with CM. Able to save $700 on a CL stay at the CR. Only a few days met the discount criteria (we are staying past 6/14). What a nice way to start the new year.

I asked for an email. Sometimes I don't receive them. Has anyone received a confirmatory email today after applying the code?

I called my travel agent and she won't even attempt to have the discount applied until Monday. She also said we weren't eligible for the Visa cardmember discount.

I had a room only at CBR for 5/11-5/21. I never got any of the other discounts/codes/pins going around this fall. But I just called late this afternoon and got the YW3 code applied today - then turned it into a package with tickets and dining plan, still with the 25% room discount! Saved me $500 off rack rates for the package. LOVE you guys!

Call back and get a different cm! I just booked this a few hours ago and didn't purchase tickets. So it can be done.

Its simply amazing how inconsistent Disney cm's are! And very aggravating. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you, I am sure you will get it worked out once you get a cm who isn't clueless!

I have a feeling the October til end of 2011 Room Only offer will start booking during the last week of March. Look at the must book by date of this offer and you will see 3/27/11. Almost 180 days from the last day of the offer dates. Since the Dining Reservations are 180 days + 10 I would say they are doing this based on that. At least his is my hope since I want to book for Mid October or November.

I gotta tell you, this is the very reason I don't use a ta anymore. I like to own my own reservation. I am sure it will be just fine for you since this is such a newly released discount. But I had a problem with my last TA reservation, she was out of town when a discount was released and I was powerless to do anything but wait for somebody to finally get my ressie changed.
