Last time we went to Universal about 2 years ago, we had a Preferred Annual Pass and a AAA card, which basically gave us a 10% discount on food and merchandise at the parks and I think at the hotel restaurants/shops too. I would show one card or the other card and I would get the 10% discount.
Reading through the threads in the forum it seems now using an Amex card will give you a 10% discount on food and a 10% discount on merchandise if you spend more that $50. It also seems that now with the AAA card you need to spend over $50 to get the 10% discount as well.
My question is - is the Preferred Annual Pass the only method for a 10% discount on merchandise if you spend less than $50.
