For starters, see this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=618392 . The person who started the thread did a wonderful job of researching Hotwire and Simple Escapes for the members here at the DIS.

I just buy our tickets from the Disney Store because it's less of a headache for me, but I make it up by getting discounts in other areas of trip planning.
