I already booked my own airfare and added that and that didn't seem to be a problem with adding Magical Express onto that.

In order to qualify for free dining, you have to pay rack rate for the room, as well as purchase tickets. No discounts.

I believe you have to purchase it as a package through Disney or a travel agent, such as AAA. So, you tickets cannot be purchased separately.

Yes, you can apply the Free Dining promo to an existing reservation but you have to purchase at least one base ticket through Disney to get the promotion. If you have to do that, you might as well buy the rest of the tix through Disney as well to get multi-day savings.

Thanks for the info! The strangest thing is when going to the AAA site, they refer you right back to the Disney site when purchasing tickets at checkout.

There is no price difference at all between the Disney price & the AAA price, both are $1205.60 for 6 day park hoppers.

Undercover tourist is -$57.80 for 6 day park hoppers for the 4 of us compared to the above price.

Room only reservations ended up being -$107 less than rack rate with the AAA discount so all in all that combined with the ticket savings of $57.80 is still not enough savings to compensate for free dining for 4 of us. If I have to switch it all back to a package at rack rate I will. $164.80 is the total I would have to pay extra to get free dining and it is well worth it.
