discount tix to water parks?

I thought I read somewhere that DVC members can get a discount on a single day water park ticket. Is this true? Can we buy the tix in advance thru DVC or do we buy them at the park? Thanks!

Yes. From the member website:

Save $4 per person (ages 10 and older) and $3 per person (ages 3-9) on daily admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney's Blizzard Beach.

Purchase at the water park. Take your membership card with you as you will need to show that to get the discount.

I second that I am glad I read this.

I did not know about the discount. We are a family of 5, so that is $20 saved, which will probably spend on over priced food at the waterpark!!
