We just got an Arlo camera system that allows me to keep an eye on the house for safety and our dog. I love the system because it emails me when it records but one of our entryways drained the batteries on the camera already. It has 4 cameras and each camera takes 4 CR 123a batteries, which seem to be very expensive. I was looking around online but realize that most of the places to get great prices are a little sketchy and without having experience with the company I am concerned they'll sell me a bag of used batteries ( I just read that complaint on Amazon) I'm not really sure what to do. My next thought was maybe trying to figure out if there is an app or a website where you can almost do a Travelocity type thing for individual items where they can crawl for sales and advise whoever has the best prices. Does anyone have any experience with either?

I usually buy my cr 123a batteries at sportsmansguide. A 12 pack of rayovac runs $30, so $2.50 each. Less if you have the membership. Lowest I've usually seen the cr 123a run is about $2 each. Good luck in finding some at a good price!
