Discount Shedd Aquarium Tickets

Does anyone know if any of the Chicago area grocery stores (or anywhere else) sell discounted Shedd Aquarium tickets? I thought that years ago Jewel/Osco used to have discounted Shedd tickets, but I don't know if they still do. My friend is taking her daugher to Shedd tomorrow (4/6) and she is wondering if she could get discounted tickets anywhere. She looked online and doesn't qualify for any of the discounts that are offered at the Aquarium.

I don't really know. I went yesterday for a field trip and just wanted to warn, it was packed to the gills (so to speak). I would totally recommend pre-purchasing somewhere or online since it can save you waiting in the line.

If they buy the Total Experience + package at least one day before you can save $10-15 per person (got curious and looked)

The first Saturday and Sunday of the month are free museum days for Bank of America customers. If she has any Bank of America account, she can get in free at Shedd Aquarium. There are 5 museums in Chicago that currently participate in the program.

If she is a Bank of America customer, she will need to provide proof at the ticket counter.

Only a fraction of museums participate, but the savings can quickly add up if you take advantage of the program.

I'm not aware of any discounts.

Please let her know that if she wants to get in, she needs to be there early. Shedd has been at, or very near, capacity for the last week or so. At least one day, they stopped letting people in around 2:00.
