Discount for arrival during Pop Warner?

We are currently scheduled to arrive December 8, which is the Saturday at the end of Pop Warner week. Is that day usually blacked out from any room only discounts?

The week of Pop Warner is often blacked out, but if you are arriving the last day, maybe you will be okay.

We have always gone the week of pop Warner and just cut our losses about not getting free dining. Again this year we booked the same dates but I just bumped it up after seeing the blackout dates for the pin code were December 2-9th. All I can say is keep a watchful eye out

We just received a pin for FD for checkin on either the 29th of Nov or the 13th of Dec. So we chose to go with the 29th. As the PP mentioned the dates your going are blacked out. Not sure if it matters but PW is always the first week in Dec.

It is possible to get a pin code that would work. For our Dec 2010 trip we were there the same week as Pop Warner. I received a pin code for 40% off a deluxe and was able to use it.

It is definitely possible to get a discount the week of Pop Warner. I have been lucky enough in both 2008 and 2010 to get a % of the room rate discount the week of pop warner. the room discount actually ending up saving us more $$ then FD would have. Good luck!
