I just thtought I would share a little deal I discovered.

I could not find my Fan Club card before our trip :guilty: :sad2:

So when we checked in at RP, I asked how I could replace one, stopped at Concierge desk, and they could not help, but told me to go to guest relations at the theme parks.

When I stopped at guest relations, they could not get me a fan club card either, but they guy opened a drawer way off to the side and pulled out a coupon book for me. I had printed off a coupon from their website a long time ago for a coupon discount book, but it expired already.

The coupon book had discounts for restaurants at each park, either 15% off, a free kids meal, etc. Also had discount coupons for shops, City Walk and hotel restaurant coupons for onsite.

Probably about 25- 30 discounts total.

Thank You for the info. We will be there on friday. :bounce:

Technically the coupon book is for online orders. I'm glad he gave you one but the next person might not be as lucky.

This sounds like the coupon book I was asking about on here earlier. Noone replied. Guess I didn't explain it well. :p I'm glad you mentioned it. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind. We received one of the books in the mail once, with tickets we ordered.

Do we need to have the tickets shipped to us, in order to get the coupons? Is it also available to those who use the kiosk to pick up an online ticket order? If so, how do we get one? Thanks :)

Just go into Guest Services and tell them your confirmation number or any print out with your online order and they will get you one.

Thanks :) We didn't know to do that the last time we picked up tickets at a kiosk. We'll definitely ask for one this time. :thumbsup2

I kind of figured this was the coupon book I had printed out a coupon for from their website. Sitting on the plane, I realized that the coupon expired at the end of March. So I never brought that online coupon with me.

When we went to IOA to look for a fan club card, he just offered me the coupon book. I passed this tip along because I figure it does not hurt to ask. The worst they could say to you is that you need the online coupon....

 We also picked up another coupon book at Universal the next day. Again, the person was friendly and gave me one. I passed along all of our unused coupons to an appreciative family--which we only used a few from each book we received.

I am confused - I didn't think the fan club cards were valid anymore :confused3

The fan club doesn't exsist anymore. I called this morning to verify and I was told the only discounts offered would be list on the web site. I told them that stink, I was hoping for discounts at the restaurants and the respnse was......sorry.

I did not know that the Fan Club cards did not really exist anymore. I really looked hard for it a few days before I left, but to avail. I thought I had read a few weeks ago that you still may have some benefits with it.
You can still sign up your company for the program if you are an HR person on their website. I wonder why that is still on there?

I haven't seen a link for the fan club on the Universal site. As I said, I called this morning and I was told the fan club no longer was in exsistance.
