I'm trying to find a flight for August and not finding a price / itinerary combo that I like. I used to have several other sites bookmarked to compare .... but I was on a deleting rampage one day and cleared all that out. Oops!

I remember Orbitz, Expedia, PriceLine, HotWire ... and that's about it for the time being.

Can anyone add to my list? Thanks ... and I promise on my Disney guidebook to never delete them from my saved sites again! :thumbsup2

I like to search using kayak.com and sidestep.com. After I find a good price, I book through the actual airline site though.

I think most have been named, but I also check Sidestep from time to time.

I agree, using these sites is a quick way to comparison shop and is a great tool, but I always buy my tickets directly from the airline.

Thanks! I didn't know about Kayak or sidestep.

Great idea actually booking through the website vs. the other sites. I hadn't thought to do that.

'Preciate the help!! :cheer2:

I love kayak - it checks both the discount sites such as cheaptickets and the airline sites. You can request multiple airports as well as flexible dates (+/-2 days), select specific airlines, and number of stops.

Go to http://www.farecompare.com/ . They compile all the travel sites and airline sites in one spot- it's all you need to find the lowest airfare. They have this chart for historical data to try to guess when the fares you want wiil be at their lowest- use it with a grain of salt (well, they tell you to be careful so it's not my fault I waited too long this time!)

They also have the best airfare email alerts in the business. Saved me a ton on a recent trip to CA. because we got the rate before it went away!
