When there is a discount code available (AP code or other for room-only) can you still make requests for a certain section of the resort, etc. if you use the code? I have read that when codes are available, there are only a certain number of rooms reserved in each resort for that code, so not everyone who wants to use the code may be able to. Now, does this mean that a certain number of SPECIFIC rooms are set aside for the codes (for example, a block of rooms in a specific building), or just a certain number of standard rooms not in any specific location?

I would like to be able to use a discount code if there is one available in the future for May '05, but I really also want to not get tied down to an area I do not like; would like to still be able to request, for example, "CBR resort, 2nd floor standard room, building 46 or 53".

Any info on this matter will be very helpful.

You can still make requests, the codes do not affect that. It goes by room category (standard view, water view), not specific locations within the category.
