Discount code and free dining?

Can I use a discount code for a room and still get the free dining in September? I wasn't sure if I will have to pay full rate to get the free dining if it's available this year.

Last year you had to pay rack rate for the rooms in order to get free dining. No discount codes could be used in conjunction.

Sorry, free dining is only available with a rack rate room/tickets package. Disney doesn't allow stacking of discounts. If you book a package with free dining, the free dining is considered your discount.

This is how it's always been. Nobody really knows about this year because it hasn't been offered yet. But it's unlikely it'll change.
