Discount Cirque du Solei tix?

Does anyone know if there are any discounted tickets for Cirque du Solei? (Matinee shows, AAA, MKC, etc?) I've heard so many great things about this show, but really find it hard to justify the price! Let me know what you think.....

I think it might be one of those facts of life... You must pay big bucks to see the greatest show on earth!!!

I balked at the price also.

After the show, I never thought of the price again. The show is THAT GOOD! We will go again. We are considering a quick trip to Vegas to see their two shows, O and Mystere.

I do know that if you have an American Express, there is a link from their website (under tickets and shows?) to admission.com. Maybe there is a discount there. I know they offer advance purchase for the travelling show, Dralion, before general release to the public.

But please! If anyone knows of discounts, let us know.

You can get half price tickets on the day of the show from O-Tix. (They are only available for low-demand periods, of course.)

I have no idea of how likely it is to get tickets there, and I would certainly recommend calling to get a better idea from the sales people at O-Tix.

We saw O in Las Vegas with a large group of people from my husband's employer (~200 people) and most people were blown away by the show, but frankly, I couldn't wait till it was over. The stunts they do are amazing, and the special effects are fantastic, but the theater was so hot (I think for the performers, because so many of them spend so much time in and out of the water) and the "storyline" seemed like someone's nightmare. The tickets to O were $100 each, and all I can say is if I'd paid more than $25 each I would have been disappointed, but that's my opinion, and I know that I'm in the minority here
