Discount at UK Disney Store?

Hi

Just wondered if anyone had used the DVC card for a 10% discount at the UK Disney Store recently? I know that you cannot use it in the US anymore, but have been successful in getting the discount here in the past but have not used it for a couple of years. Wanted to do some Christmas shopping this weekend!

yes you do used it regularly. Used it on wednesday

Yes, I've used it recently, too. The staff aren't always sure what to do, but they soon work it out.

I had no idea about this!! Missed out on Christmas but will give it a go in the New Year....

How are the CM's in the UK stores when you try to use it - do they understand or do you have to go through explaining what the DVC is?

Hi there,

I have used my card in various stores from Aberdeen to London, even Rome and never had any problems. I even used it it in DLP, I now know that your not meant too, and received a discount between 10%and 20%.

Thanks for the tip. I used my DVC card in MK this afternoon (Milton Keynes not Magic Kingdom ). They are all set up to accept it. So, not only did we get 2 snow globes, limited edition Winnie the Pooh, and a couple of packs of Disney Christmas cards - all 50% off in the sale, but an additional 10% off on top of all that. DW was very chuffed when DD and I got home.
