I have been a Boutique stalker for a while,
but after seeing super cute crayon pouches that kstgelais4 made,
I wanted to share the apron I made for DD's 2nd b-day last year.

I completely faked my way through it,
but I probably never would have dusted off my sewing machine if it wasn't for the DIS.
So thanks to everyone for the inspiration!

and Happy Mother's Day!

OH! I just love this! I think I will CASE this for Zoe. She wanted a "princess-y" crayon roll-up and she got lightening McQueen. lol.

Finally got my pics uploaded. I finished the portrait peasant dress and the simply sweet dress, plus a crayon organizer. Poor DD has been sick so she doesn't look to happy in the pics...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Pooh fabric! Where oh where did you get this??? I have not seen it at my Hancocks, I NEED it!!!

OK so when do the sisters return from Disney????? :confused3 Not that I want to rush their vacay but I do remember something it going on for 10 - 14 days or something. Does anyone know their return date???

I can't wait to see their TR's!!! I am sure it will be full of magical moments and memories from both of them!

I went hunting all day yesterday for fabric to go with the Little Einsteins material. Be honest, what do you think of this combo:

I am planning on doing the criss cross dress from YCMT.

We have now set a date for our holiday :) 15 October 09 we will be departing for the US :cool1: Now to figure out how to do those countdown ticker thingys - 17months :D
To get a ticker just click on someone else's and it will take you to the site where theirs came from.

Hey ladies. i was going to sew but then sickness struck again! I have been sick working with a fever for nearly two weeks now. Finally my boss said go home and don't come back until the fever is gone! YIKES!! That doesn't work well with the paycheck. But this weekend was a higher fever. the rest was just low grade. Its lower, but only because the tylenol is helping with that. Thank gosh. He even made me take my temp at work then sent me on my way. hahaha

I didn't get t sew Georgia's Elvis skirt because of this dang sickness keeping me down. I guess I should be resting still, but I HATE to rest!

Hopefully this week I will get some sewing time in. I just got some Mickey Fabric in the mail the other day.
Get some rest and I hope you get better soon. I know how you feel right now. I have fever and a nasty cough and I have to go to work later today.

That dress is just too adorable. I love that Pooh Bear fabric and your DD is still cute even when she doesn't feel good.

Oh gosh! I saw your picture before and did not pay attention to the fabric! Thanks for reposting it.

For the criss cross dress I am leaning twoards doing the top and skirt the Einsteins material and the sash and hem the red. How do you think that would look?

I finished a few more things. We are meeting some online friends when we get to Orlando. I made these for her kiddos-

Please ignore the yucky carpet. I hate this apartment and hope to be out next year.

Lastly- I tried to semi-CASE LisaZoe (if that is even possible!!) and used 2cutekids idea with the pillowcase. here are the results-

I wanted to do more detail by hand on the face, but I ran out of time- and I don't think that it would have been appreciated. This was for my friend's little girl's 6th bday. They loved it, but really have no idea what is involved with it.

LOVE all the outfits especially the tigger and tinkerbell one. I think it's a pretty good case. love all the colors!

Hi, I am a lurker on here and just love all the customs that I see. I have a 4 yo daughter that I wish I can sew for but I have no clue how to sew. I would love to get myself a cheap sewing machine and start learning. We have a trip plan for October. It will be our first trip.

I think that combo will look great! And thank you for reminding me that I have the pattern and should probably use it again.

Thanks to everyone for such kind words!
Just what I needed to get me going on a Monday morning. :coffee:

Now if I can just figure out out how to keep track of everything I see!

It sounds like I am in a similar to boat to gillenkl...
I have no Joanne's, no Hancocks, and my Wally-Mart is pretty picked over.
I'll probably end up ordering fabric on-line,
so no new pics for a while.

But it's nice to know that there is a cozy and welcoming place where I can pull up a chair while I rip stitches!

Aloha!

Any ideas?????
