Okay totally OFF topic but can soeone PLEASE help me find a discussion on The Disney Vacation Club? DH called today with a wonderful Idea that we should join and go several times a year. Since I am not one to argue, I am searching and searching for info so present to him when he gots home. I looked on the site, requested a DVD and a return phone call and now I am just sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for the call. lol, DH NEVER has ideas like this and needs MONTHS of prep before even a little vacation cause he is not the vacation kind of guy so this is a surprise and I am super excited. Off to sw to pass the time!

Have you checked the DVC boards here? I'm not sure exactly what info you're looking for, but there's lots of info there. You'll LOVE being a DVC member. We have never regretted our decision to join. We LOVE it!

I got a boatload of Minnie dot in the mail today...wa-hoo!! I searched for it, and just couldn't seem to find the right price. This red is a nice dark red with smaller dots...almost quarter sized. I LOVE it..and I guess I shouldn't say this...but when it came, it measured twice what I ordered... I'm saving every bit of it for our cruise!!

Im back on page 219- but wanted to post in case anyone is following .
I got my gastric emptying screening this morning.
At the 60min mark you're suppose to be a 40-45% empty. I was at 25%
At the 90min you should be at 50%- the guy doing my test said no, I didnt make the cut off and prepared for a shot of reglan for the second 90m, but Dr giving me the shot looked at the results and said I just barely made it under the wire and I didnt have to get the shot. Yea!!! So...results back next wednesday. Radioactive material should be out of me by this evening and DD cant sit on my lap for prolonged periods until then.
She had her 2yr old exam today which Daddy had to take her to.
They did the toe-prick hemoglobin test and she cried- but DH has had a bandaid on his hand recently and shes facinated with "boo boos" well, they put a band-aid on her toe and he said- 'look Megan, you have boo boo now too! Just like Daddy!" and she stopped crying immediately and said "Boo Boo!" and was facinated with her first "boo boo band'aid"
She showed me when I came home.

I STILL havent gotten sewing again- girls, Im telling you, I have the worst time with this- I think my average is 5 days between outfits. ...sigh...
well -gotta go catch up

I own DVC too- Old Key West- DH and I bought in a couple years ago- and we bought resale. PM me with any questions you have. We love it and we love the flexibility it offers. In Oct we stayed for 10 days at OKW, now we are staying at BWV for 5 days- and I have also rented out points with good results (I rented to TGM people which worked out better than the DIS boards)
I recommend called DVC and getting their nice glossy THICK brochure, but then checking into a resale. We bought from the Timeshare Store- which was great because it was cheaper, and on your next trip swing by their office to say hi and you get a Huge free gift basket, filled with stuff from The Basin- massage bars, lotions, oils, sponges, all sorts of things to enjoy in those big jacuzzis the villas have.

I just custom ordered from this Voldemort seller to match some of DDs outfits- and got this design in different colors- arent these just too cute!

You guys are funny tonight! Or, maybe that's just because it's 3:30 AM and I'm sleep deprived?????

I found enough silvery fabric so I am making Arminda the Cinderella ball gown. She really wanted that one, but she didn't want it blue, because it's not really blue, it's silvery or so she and Lydia and Aunt Heather said. I hope it turns out, because I really should be sleeping instead of using a rotary cutter! I think I'll head to bed now.

Nighty night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!

I think it will be beautiful in silvery. It's not blue in the movie & it's always bugged me that they make all the play dresses & dolls in blue. Just doesn't make sense to me, but MY little angel still wants a blue dress. Maybe I'll get her to see it my way before we go again...

Use it! It's gorgeous--IMHO! I like the cotton princess style outfits--much more practical than the costume variety. The costumes are gorgeous, but the girls always look so uncomfortable in the parks!

Thanks. I really like the cotton ones too because they're easy to wash. I just wasn't sure about the print. It's almost finished now & DD4 likes it so I guess we're good. I'm trying to find a way to poof the skirt out a little. i have a few ideas, just haven't had time to work on any of them yet.

Her bows are fantastic!!! We have a few ourselves. She also does rings, pendants, tiaras and of course bows. They are fantastic in person. I almost bid on those bows too! LOL

I think the confusion comes when it is sparkling - it has a blue-ish hint. . .

But then on the movie cover and the Costumes even made by Disney are blue. . . . so they add to it, lol!

Hello all! I finally got some of my pics uploaded to photobucket! I have been so busy, but seeing Ireland makes me want to go back!!!

Your photos and outfits are awesome! Would love to see more!

We drove on our trip to Florida, so that wasn't an issue, thank goodness! By the time we were driving home, he looked horrible, but he was feeling ok. He had a pretty miserable few days though! Thankfully, we were at my Grandparent's house that week, so he could just take it easy. He caught the chicken pox from a child who had been vaccinated, which I was suprised about. I wouldn't think they would be so catchy. My neice also got them at the same time (she and Corey were in the same kindergarten class). But, she had the vaccine so she only got a few.

The owners locker sounds like a pretty neat idea! With the way some of the airlines are limiting your luggage now, it is sounding better and better!

Thanks! The Pooh dress is for breakfast at the Crystal Palace on my birthday next Tuesday.

DH brought Emma to the doctor this morning and they couldn't confirm or deny that it is chicken pox. She said we should assume it is and wouldn't say if she thought she'd be better by Sunday. She still only has about 15 spots so I'm hopeful she'll be fine by Sunday! They also put her on an antibiotic for potential Lyme disease. We had the tick so they will test that and if the results are negative we can stop the antibiotic. I'm a bit worried because she's only been on an antibiotic once in her life and both of my other children are alergic to penicillin but the alergist says it is NOT hereditary and they are alergic to different components.

Ok, Ok, you all have talked me into it!!! I'm going to do the peasant dress for Cinderella!

I bet it will great! Can't wait to see it.

Yeah, it looks bluish in some lights. But, the prince's white jacket looks bluish in some parts, too. So, I think the dress is actually silvery. Yes, I have spent way too much time thinking about this! LOL!
