Just getting caught up from yesterday! Teresa, that Giselle shirt is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love it! Love everything posted! All of those boy outfits are so cute! It's always nice to see boy stuff posted!

OK, so all the petti talk is making me think that Ella NEEDS one. Like if I deprive her of the yards and yards of chiffon twirliness, she'll probably end up in therapy, right? So I may as well just buy her one now to save money later, right? ;) :rotfl:

So, seeing that this is an absoulte necessity, what size do you guys think she would need? She can wear a 3T in some things, but also wears a 4T. I was thinking that the 4-5 might be ginormous on her, but that the 2-3 may be smallish? I don't know! All you petti experts, what size would you get?

You can order them from Sam's with an adjustable waist. This means that not only will it have the buttonhole elastic, but it also has three casings to insert the elastic therefore making it shorter in inch increments up to 2 inches. My dd is 4 and 44 or 45" tall and she has 15 inch pettis. I think they fit her great (and have for a year or so) and I expect that they will be the right size for another 2 years on top of this...

This is good to know! Thanks so much! I appreciate everyone's input! Now I just have to decide which color. . .

Here's Tink On. She loves it:

That looks so cute on her!! dd thought it was pretty great too- she got so excited when she saw it!!
I love them ALL!! dd shouted Nemo when she saw the fishys :cutie:
I was also there at midnight the day it came out! :rotfl: I bought both the widescreen and the regular version on video cassette. :rotfl: Everyone else in the line was buying their copies for "someone else". ;)
Oh yeah come to think of it it was VHS when it first came out! I remember the screen going black and freaking out then realizing the tape needed changing :lmao:
sorry I havent' been on this link yet. Things are crazy. Don't know if any of you saw on the site that I posted prayers needed for DD. Our baby Hannah has to go in for surgery in the am. She has gotten MRSA and has to go in to have the infection removed. I am so scared. I need prayers that all is okay. this is our 3rd time with MRSA, DD1 first, then my mom, now my baby. Her godmother is a surgeon so she is going in the OR with her. Other wise I dont' know what I would do.
 and prayers for little Hannah!!
After seeing that adorable Goofy fabric yesterday I went searching :wizard: just to see if there was anything Goofy out there... well here is what I bought this morning:

They are GORGEOUS!!! Now if the pics were only a little bigger- I was squinting to try and see what the different patches were.

Not at all. ;) I haven't done it yet; I guess it needs to be saturday. especially because her birthday is the 17th... and it has to be mailed.... I better get cracking...

I DO finally have the pictures from my sister. And enough posts to show you guys these... I realize it's the same pattern, but they are different... I promise! Ok, maybe not by much, but I want to share them all anyway. The purple one is for a cousin, the others are for two of my sister in laws. One is due May 1st. I can't wait!!!

Those are so pretty. I am inspired to make a quilt for Jenna to bring with her when we go to WDW (even though it won't be cold when we go). It won't be anywhere near as fancy as the ones posted here lately. Just something simple.

Aw, don't worry. Soon she'll be off, eager to get on the bus and forget to say good-bye to her mother she's so excited to go to school. :sad2: Why do they have to grow?

STEPHANIE!!!!!!! That is EXACTLY what scares me the most!!!!! :sad1:
:rotfl2: Poor Teresa!

I know, poor me! One baby starting kindergarten one baby liking older women! What will I do!

Those are GORGEOUS!!! Wow!

Good evening all I know I have not posted hardly at all on this #4 thread. I have been so busy keeping up with the twins keeping Emily out of trouble these last 3 weeks after getting her cast off has been hard on both her and I. I have been lurking when I can but I can never seem to get a post in without getting up to see what happened and to whom. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:My you all do stunning work blankets enchanted top, boys outfits blankets. Wow great work.

Megan is also on spring break this week so she is keeping me busy with how she is always bored. Ok enough of my ramble.

I desperately need two yards of this fabric I found it at joanns at the end of last year I can't find it at any of my local joanns and they don't have it on their site. I was able to find a pic of it at a different fabric store but they want almost triple for what I had paid for it at joanns. I need a yard of the white with black stars and a yard of black with white stars. If any of you happen to see it would you please let me know.:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:
The things we go through to surprise our little girls for their bday.

This is the page for the other one I found. TIA

I bet all the older toddlers & girls thought he was a gorgeous baby too! ;) :lmao:
He really was a Beautiful Baby- Very Handsome in his race car shirt and overalls!!
Do you have a picture of him in that outfit that his very talented auntie made for him when she first made it? You know the one I'm talking about :goodvibes ;) :rotfl2: I know it looked so cute on him what was it last year when he modeled it.

I will be praying for you. I hope everythng goes well. God will be watching over her.

Did I tell you guys I've conquered my caffeine addiction? I ONLY drink it if I feel "the headache" coming on. That alone had helped me drop some weight this week, I think. Instead, I'm drinking cherry Crystal Lite. I DID drink a sugar free iced coffee from McDonalds. I was at Walmart when "the headache" came on and didn't want to drink diet coke so I chose the iced coffee. Shhhh, don't tell my Mormon friends. I feel guilty and naughty all at the same time.

Sometimes I require a "medicinal frappuchino" at Starbucks ;)

Where is Luke though?

In my efforts to sway Miss Cammie, I was trying to show her how cute a 6 year old boy and an big sister can be with a baby sister :rotfl: Since Miss Cammie doesn't have a 3-year-old boy I left Luke out but I was feeling guilty about that :guilty: so now when I'm on my other computer I will get a pic up of him.

Oh I love it! I want to use that pattern for my I spy Disney quilt, but since I haven't worked on it and I've had squares sitting around for months, I doubt that my quilt will be anything but 6" squares!:rotfl:

My sister just decided they are going to Disneyland next week for one day and hinted that she wanted a pirate pants outfit for Dniece 18 mo. so I need to get that whipped up before my sewing room goes out of business on Saturday (when it becomes a guest room again for a couple of days).

OH, and Carla has the cutest new pattern for ruffled capris, but here is my dilemna! It is 3 seperate patterns one for sizes 1-2-3, then sizes 4-5-6, then 6x-8 :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: I usually make Lily a size 3, but I don't know if I want to buy that size when she will grow out of it so soon. I am not sure if I am talented enough to "downsize" the size 4-5-6 to fit her. Which one would you buy if you were me? :confused3 I need this pattern though.

ETA: I have made ruffled capris before without a pattern and it was a PITB so I need a pattern! And there is the cutest pair of Minnie pants in the photos! Did you do that just for us Carla? :lmao:

I would go with the 4-5-6, because there isn't much difference between a size 3 and a 4. I used a size 4 pattern to make shorts for a little girl that wears a 3 and I just made them short enough for her and made the waist tight enough for her.

Guess who got Free Dining this morning!!! Yippee!!!!

DD and I are going on a little girls weekend trip! We also get to go during MNSSHP. Super Fun!!!
I am so jealous. I wish they would do free dining for May and I would love to take Jenna to the MNSSHP. You guys have fun though.

:flower3: Good Morning... I practiced the multi quote thing and was so very pleased with myself and feeling all fancy schmancy and poof its gone on me!:scared1:

Anyway beautiful work everyone! Still wishing I had my own little girley to sew for.

Today my youngest turned 12. Our trip in 2 weeks is a surprise for my boys so I got a 25 piece Disney puzzle and wrote Happy Birthday Jake and Levi and put Disney World April 27-May4, 2008. On the back of each piece I put direction for a treasure hunt to find each piece... Some very simple and some rather complex treasure hunting will be going on. The last puzzle piece will tell them to go to the coffee table and make the puzzle. I just finished costumes for the Pirate and Princess party. (I wanna be a pirate) I made skull caps, put a jolly roger on t-shirts and a red sash belt. (They have black bathing suits)At that point I will Have them open their costumes and read about the P&PP. My dear hubby asked if he gets a costume. He is such a good sport. (I made him to match the boys.)

Well that is quite a ramble. I am just so excited to FINALLY tell them!

I'm off to an IEP meeting and the youngest's school and then home to make fudgy chocolate cake. I have lost 27 pounds for this trip... I so wish he had chosen a cake I didn't like.

Happy Day eveyone!

So here is my Bad Mom of the Year story...

Last night I was fininshing up DD's Pooh outfit. (I worked on the 1950 Singer and got it working again:cool1: ). I had just ironed the straps and needed her to try it on one more time before I sewed them in place. As I was pinning, she decided to touch the iron! That is the worst sound ever! I think I heard her skin sizzle.:scared: I can't believe I did not turn it off! :scared1: We ran to the kitchen and ran it under cool water while she sobbed:sad: It has not blistered so I think we got to it fast enough. Now she is scared to come in the room with the iron! AAAAHHHHH!!! Leson learned!:headache:

ouch! I had the best mom in the world! but she liked to tell me the story of the time when I was a baby and she pinned my diaper right to my flesh :scared1: (yes, that dates me, but I did also wear pampers so I'm not THAT old :rotfl: )

Oh one totally OT question...DH has agreed that we will have one night to go out to eat at WDW just me and him:cool1: . My parents are going and they will be with the crew. So here is the question...give me some suggestions on where to eat. We have no planned time to go to DTD with the kids, so I was thinking somewhere over there might be good? Or would you suggest somewhere else? I am pretty sure we have no intention of going back in the parks. He won't be up for fancy and he hates fish. Any suggestions? :confused3

That doesn't make you a bad mom!!! She will be ok and will forget about it in a day or so. That is just a small accident that could happen to anyone.

DTD has some nice restraunts that aren't dressy. Some of them seem like they would be fun to go to and you get to do some shopping afterwards.:woohoo:

They are FANTASTIC!!!!!

JHAM-I saw those ruffled capris this morning and they are sooo cute! I really wish all of the sizes came in one pattern, because I would have to buy two patterns for it to fit my girls!:sad1: Oh well, I guess my girls' will be walking around in ruffleless capris!

TERESA-He was such a cute baby! What a sweet little face!

I am just curious about something with the YCMT ruffled capri's. I have never ordered a pattern from YCMT, so this may be a really stupid question.

What makes these ruffled capri's any different than say McCall's capri pattern with ruffles attached?

Am I missing something here?
