I NEEEEEED an embroidery machine!!! Really really bad!

And me!!! Every time I come on here I find something to buy or that I want to try. (Just don't tell DH!!)

This dress kicked my tush. I don't like it, but I don't think I have the time to make a new one. The ruffles didn't work right, then my serger decided to have a fight with me. It's a MESS.

This is the outfit with the shorts tutorial fabric...For AK and the Zoo (we got o the zoo a lot, so this is a multi-purpose outfit)

Well it might have hurt your behind, but it looks adorable to me!!!

The croc is actually Jackson's. It is the kid's scutes. He just got them that day. He was wearing one of his new blue disney ones and one of the scutes around until I made him take them off. NO idea where the other one was.

Yeah, ironing on the floor stinks. We are in an apt for a bit until I can get stuff back together (just recently divorced). I don't really have room for a full sized board right now, so yeah, floor ironing it is. I guess it helps that I don't use it much.

I love that dress! It is really fun and pretty. If it kicked your butt, I can't tell! But I know that feeling. Going back to my capris now. Hopefully I won't have to rip any more seams.

I almost said the same thing! Somebody in Teresa's house thinks Giselle is cute!!!! Why else would a 15 year old boy remember a yellow sun dress that shows up for about 2 minutes in the credits of a movie.

You better keep a close eye on that young man Teresa!

sadly I need a med white or all yellow pettiskirt. and they have none in our size!

The PED-Basic will transfer downloaded embroidery designs to a memory card which you then stick in your machine. The Brother Disney cards have something that won't let them be read in a non-"D" Brother machine (so they can get you to spend more on the "D" model). But the machine won't care that your downloaded designs are Disney-esque, if that's what you're asking.

ETA: Wally-World (online) has the PED-Basic too. Not sure which is cheaper with coupon codes and shipping and sales tax.

all you need is the ped basic. that will download the designs from your computer to a brother memory card. you put whatever you want on that memory card and it transfers to your machine when you put it in. the card and reader is about $150 $200 depending where you buy it.

I have something like that. Mine is the ultimate box. I would double check the brother site to be sure it is compatible with your specific machine. I love, love, love mine.

I have a Disney Brother embroidery machine without a USB connection also. I use the Ped basic to write to a blank card and use that to download designs from the internet. It has worked well for me!

Cooper's unfinished outfit. I wish that June was bigger, but her hair is so wide!

Here is where the crazy starts (well, it might have been earlier, but now it is full-on crazy!). Jackson and Cooper want Mike outfits. So, I plan to applique (thanks for the awesome tutorial HS!) a mike onto a white shirt. I couldn't figure out what to do for pants. . .So, I made this fabric. I know that some of the seams don't like up, but I like it. It looks at least as good as the patchwork shorts I got from old navy earlier.

OMG....I LOVE all of these outfits!!! And your little guys are just so cute!!! I love seeing the boys outfits now that I have a little guy to sew for. Hahaha. Great job on everything!!!

Awww, you guys are making me feel so special!! I almost didn't post because they are boy clothes and not as cute as a lot of the girl things! I NEED to find a girl around here to sew for!! I have tried to talk a few friends into LETTING me make something for their kid, but no luck. UGH.

Well, DH is out of town all week. I hate it when he is gone, our little one really misses him and it makes me feel so bad for her. On the flip side, it does make some things easier! The house stays much cleaner (how does one adult male make such a mess?) and it cuts down on my cooking! How about hot dogs for dinner? So I'm finally caught up on my laundry and I just washed up some fabric! Yeah! I haven't sewn anything since February. I'm going to make some baby bibs up for my sister's baby. They are pretty easy and I'll post pictures when I'm done. Since I'm not exactly a fast sewer I'm sure it will take a few days but I'll have pictures! I'm also going to try out button holes on them. My machine has a one step button holer but I haven't used it yet. My girls figured out how to take off their bibs early on if they were snaps or velcro so I figure buttons ought to make it a little harder. We'll see how it goes!

I finished that outfit for DD and was so excited to get going on the next project, then I couldnt decide which fabric, or which pattern. Here it is 3 days later- and I havent done anything yet!!! Im so mad at myself.
DD is having a bad day, she hasnt been like this for ages, but she spent the first half of the day crying about everything, and I mean that screamy cry. Naptime is over and so far so good-she ate her lunch she was suppose to eat at noon. I was thinking of taking her for a bit of ice cream. Maybe putting my fabric in the wash...
