Hi. I'm new to this thread. I learned how to sew in a Puppetry class I had last spring and I haven't had much practice since. I'm going to be surprising my parents with a trip to DL for their anniversary in June but the trip is not until November. I want to make all of us matching shirts, at least, and I'd like to do a few outfits for DD4. I'd like to get my parent's shirts done to give them with their surprise, but I need something super-simple, like an aplique? I don't even think I can spell it right. Anyway, if someone can help with where to find cute stuff that isn't too much harder than ironing...and maybe cutting, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Can you meet up with us at the campfire sing-a-long at Fort Wildnerness on Thursday, May 8? It starts at 8:00pm, but we'll be there by 7:00pm, at the latest. Stephres will be with us, too!
Thank you all....she finally doesn't fight me when I let her wear dresses. lol
If it weren't for all of the great stuff you guys make inspiring me to sew more this wouldn't have happened. I didn't even have so much as a needle and thread in my house before b/c when I wanted to make something I just went to my mom's or MIL's. But NO..I have to have all the cool sewing stuff at home so I can keep up w/ the disboutiquers
You don't think they will hold your job for you? Wow, that sure isn't very nice!
I think a mickey head is a good thing to start with. One line and can practice on some curves. My first thing was an elmo head, almost similar. Straight lines are of course easier, but not sure what all you could make with just straight lines.
is this a cold or a virus...
