In March she lead the afternoon parade at the MK. I really wish she would do a meet and greet since she is DD's fav right now!

Cute! I can't wait to see the appliqué. I like the lace on the bottom.
THANK YOU STEPHERS I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DO I THINK YOU ARE SO TALENTED. I am going to try to applique Boo from MInc to go with a skirt for their bday.
can you tell me what pattern that is? i love the straps! That turned out really cute!
Thank you so much it's half a pattern.
IMG_0429-1.jpg
I used the bottom half and for the top I cut it stright not curved and did the same for the back then I made the staps long enough to go from front to back but wide enough to fit an inch wide strip of elastic. So it would be easy on and easy off for my two toddlers who insist on dressing them selves.

Caleb had a Dr. appointment yesterday for a checkup and his kindy immunizations. Poor kid, he had to get 4 shots and they gave them in his legs. I was a bad mommy and really just didn't even think to give him ibuprofen or anything after. Then, around dinner time last night, he came to me all teary eyed, saying that his legs were sore. Oh, man I felt so bad. But a little bit of motrin, some homemade pizza and an ice cream sandwich later, he was a bit better. He says his legs are still a little sore, but he's at least been up and playing this morning, so it can't be too awful.

And for those of you who now think I'm absolutely and totally nutso: well, you're right, but I'm embracing my inner crazy!

How cute she is.
Poor thing. I hope Caleb feels better soon.

Ok as promised The girls before we left for my Dr apt. I had 6 people ask where they could buy them and if I had a shop. I wish I did now. I just said thank you and I hope to someday.

Oh, look at those two cuties! Those dresses are even cuter on your little ones!

Don't you just love it when strangers compliment your work? It's awesome to get compliments here because we all know and love one another and know what goes into making each item. But on the other hand, when a stranger asks where you bought your dd's dress, then finds out you MADE it, then asks if you sell them, that is pretty cool. DH keeps joking that he's going to print me up some business cards and handing them out when people ask!

Ok, now I need some help here, please. If you could all keep my and DH's friend Jim in your thoughts/prayers, we would really appreciate it. He's been sick for a while now - they thought it was a viral thing, then maybe mono, now they are testing him for lymphoma. He's got a wife and a little boy, 18 months old. DH and I grew up with Jim and his family. So, his family is like our family. He's in the navy and we haven't seen him much over the last couple of years and it makes me sad that he's far away right now. He may get an extended medical leave and get to come home in a couple of weeks for some much needed rest. Anyway, I totally believe in the power of prayer, so if you could, we'd greatly appreciate it!! Thanks so much.

Good morning everyone! We had a busy weekend - spring cleaning! Woo Hoo. Still in progress, actually. I was hoping to have pictures of my scrapbooking/sewing area all clean and organized to share, but it's not quite there yet. Soon, I hope.

I have one more thing to share - hopefully you will all be laughing with me, not thinking I'm some horrible, cruel mom. So Ella has this crazy, curly hair, right? Well, as I was watching Napoleon Dynamite for the millionth or so time a few days ago, it hit me that she has hair just like him! So, I felt the need to make her a "Vote for Pedro" shirt and dress her up like Napoleon. My husband just shook his head. Ella actually thought it was funny - a friend gave me a talking Napoleon doll for a gag gift a while back and the kids both love to play with it, so she thought it was neat to be dressed up like that "talking boy dolly" as she put it. I was trying to get her to make some goofy Napoleon-ish faces, but she didn't quite get it. Ok, so here she is:

SUHWEET!!! Makes me want some tater tots! (see why I have a hard time dieting?)

People kept coming up to us at Disney so I did get some business cards made. If you go to Vista Print there are some they will do for free, you only have to pay the shipping. Now I can whip one out if someone comments on Megan's outfit!

Hope Caleb's leg feels better. I forgot to do the motrin before the shots and did it afterward too. Wow, that was almost a year ago, it feels like yesterday! I have never seen that movie but she is a cute little nerd.

 for you and your friend. I hope everything works out.

Leslie! I just spent $30 over at that site! Did everyone know they have fabric with dachshunds on it, for pete's sake? :rotfl:

Elisa - I did a black and white set for Animator's Pallette. You should do a Steamboat Willie custom in black and white for AP. How cute would that be!!

I was keeping my eye out, because about a year ago, they were selling the vests that they wore at AP. The black and white on one side and color on the other. It would be neat to do a dress that is black and white on one side and total color on the other. Or reversible even. :rotfl:
That's a great Idea! A reversible Apron top!

HELLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ladies and Gent!!

Its been a long long time. Well maybe a good few weeks. Things for me are slowly picking up the pieces. I have been working so much I hardly ever have time to take a shower.. No worries thought folks, I do make time for that. hahaha

I still have yet to sew, but I did get my fabric in a the storage thing my mom got for me when she was here. It rolls!! I am going to move a desk into the living room area so I cant put my sewing machine on it.

I am a lot happier now, shockingly, now that Kevin is gone. But that is a good thing. My best friend and I are going out next weekend. That should be fun! Georgia is suppose to see her dad. so I can relax and have some me time.

I dyed my hair too! Its um way different. its RED!
APRIL143.jpg

Ok well hopefully I will be on later to check everything out. I am off tonight. Thankgoodness!!
I love your hair and Georgia has your eyes! Very pretty
Happy Birthday to ME!!

That is too cute.

WAIT!!!!! That man endangered the life of your DACHSHUND?! That's it...lock him up for life! Poor Sophie...8lbs huh? My little darling is pushing 20...some mini he turned out to be!!!

I am SO glad that the judge saw through the truck driver's obnoxiousness. Like having your angel baby on your lap has ANYTHING to with his careless and reckless driving. I'm surprised he hasn't hurt anyone more seriously. I love the cavalier attitude so many of these people have...they are driving around in what amounts to a large TANK and they think that people should watch out for THEM!

I hope he lost his license. I hope he has to take a dachshund sensitivity course. I hope a doxie wees on his boots! And bites his big toe!

MEAN man.

:goodvibes

glad it went well!!!

pats to your Sophie from me and my Beauregard Jackson Biltmore III

:flower3:

Okay, I have been busy busy busy since you posted this. But I just had to respond that of course Sophie does not drive. She is too short to see over the steering wheel.

Dachshunds? Did you buy it? I think my DD would love a shirt with Dachshunds! Photos?

Oh she is so sweet! Megan just asked me if she could kiss Sophie. Yes, she kissed the computer screen! :rotfl:

Cute! That's one lucky new mom!

Dude, you know I did! I have never seen fabric with doxies so I did buy it along with the alice fabric Leslie showed earlier. It came in several colors but Megan liked the green:

I used Pellon Fusible Fleece. That bag is made with Butterick 4823. I really think it would have looked great with a monogram on the green section but the mom-to-be isn't certain about her name choice yet.

OK, that fabric is so cute! We have a dachsund, too - his name is Frank. I do believe I need that fabric! Now just to convince DH of that . . .

Ella saw this shirt the other day at Kohl's and asked me very sweetly if we could please buy it and take it home. Well, I was going to post a pic, but I think the shirt is in the wash - suffice it to say it is pink polka dot with a doxie applique - and the doxie has a sweater! Here's a link - http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/kids/toddlergirls/tops/shortsleeve/PRD~304362/Carters+Dog+Tee.jsp#

I wonder how that pink doxie fabric would look with it? or the blue or white?

Oh, those are so cute! Lucky mom and baby!

After experimenting with the rag curls, I know want a perm again. Am I crazy? Aren't perms so 80's? I got my first spiral perm in 1987 and my last perm probably around 97. Do stylists even do sprial perms anymore? It cost me about $70 back then, wonder what they cost now? Hubby said go ahead if I want to. Hmmmmm.... That is a lot of fabric I could buy fot that!

We are an easily influinced group! We did the rags (actually socks) on my DD Sunday. She has curly hair under a layer of very straight hair. But it is all very thick. The curls held for about 1 hour and the weight just pulled it out. oh well!
I've been trying to decide on what to do with my hair. I kninda want to cut it all off. It is straight and also thick and I really don't feel like being hot in FL in June. Better make up my mind quick!

We sound a lot alike you and I! I absolutely LOVE being pregnant too. That is how I felt too. Lyddy's AFP came back funny too. I doubt I will ever get pregnant again, but if I did, I would not have that test done. All it does is cause worry. They wanted to do an amnio, but there was a 1% risk of miscarriage with that. When I was pregnant with Quinn, there was a 1% chance my water would break early and he would die, so 1% to me was too much of a risk. Obviously Lyddy turned out fine, but it was really stressful to worry about that for months! I had enough worry in my prenancies, I didn't need extra!

I loved being pregnant the moment after I had each of mine. I instantly felt like part of me was missing. I loved feeling them move inside of me.

Happy Birthday to ME!!
:cake: :cake: :cake: :cake: :bday:
Did I mention that I'm only 29?...LOL

Those are so cute!

I had (or my friend had the first time of people asking where the outfits were bought. I made the three matching pairs of shorts and appliqued shirts for them to go to the zoo this past weekend. She said everyone was stopping them, and commenting. Made me feel pretty good. That is the first time I have made anything for other kids!

Here is my picture...took it with my phone because I STILL can't find where DH put the camera!:headache: So the quality of the photo is not too good...Sorry!
