I would send her a message over ebay, giving a link to where she stated that AND saying the reason you bought all that was cuz she said "X" on the listings. . .

I sent her two messages through ebay stating that. And how they changed the price of shipping not me. And I cancelled her bill through Paypal. I guess I will see what happens.

Melanie

So here's the Buzz outfit. I had some problems with the buttonholes so I hope fray check really works. I should have know not to try it while tired but I so wanted the outfit complete.

Here's the Nemo outfit. I like it better with the capris that are more bermuda short legnth. And my tomboy really LOVES this outfit so that is what really matters.

Oh, the Nemo turned out cute! That panel is smaller than I imagined somehow... I am working on a button down shirt for DS with that fabric right now and I am less than thrilled (though I think it is more the pattern than the fabric :scared: ).

Love the Buzz too!

I second this suggestion. If anything I would file a complaint through ebay and paypal.

I love both of these. I bought the cutest Buzz Lightyear fabric to make an outfit for my crazy DD. It looks like a comic book, and she wants a girly dress made out of it.:confused3 I think this combo has to do with her grandma dressing her like a boy when she was little.

Thanks! The panel is 8 1/2" square. The repeat on the Nemo fabric is huge so it's hard to see it on small kids clothes. I was originally thinking I would put a blue band on the bottom of the shirt but then you wouldn't see much of the Nemo fabric at all.

I just realized that I have that same Nemo fabric coming in the mail from ebay. I can't wait to get it in. I also was able to find different Nemo fabric at two other places around town, so I now have three Nemo fabrics. I want to make something for Jenna to wear to Epcot, but I want to use all three fabrics on the outfit. I haven't yet decided what pattern to use.

Know I am having issues. Can a seller change terms after auction ends and you pay?? Because she clearly thinks she can. She may have messed up but thats not my problem. It stated free shipping on each additional item. So I saved $38 on shipping. I didnt change shipping Ebay/Paypal did. Know she sends me a bill through Paypal for $38.

Now what??

Melanie

Definitely let her know that her listing clearly states free shipping. If she still insists on charging you more shipping, you can report this to eBay by filing a dispute. I think that will allow you to cancel the purchase without getting "dinged" as a non-paying buyer. I believe it would fall into the "seller non-performance" policy.

Thanks. I did send her those two messages. I have also cancelled her bill through Paypal. I have heard nothing from her. She still has my money. So we will see. I paid as soon as the auctions ended. Then ebay/paypal showed what I owed even in green said YOU SAVED $38 in shipping from XXXX. So we will see what she does next. I will let you all know when I know something. Im just upset about it.

I'm curious to know how many customs you made for your trip. Your trip report was great and I was totally impressed by how many incredible outfits you made. Now I'm definately thinking, I will need more than (egad!) one per day.

I will have to count. I started off as having two outfits a day and a couple of gowns. I know that only one smocked dress did not get worn. We bought two Belle and two Cinderella gowns. We also bought an Alice due to a time/bus issue. The baby had a few smocked dresses but everything else I made.

The total is . . .

DD4- 24 (Belle, Alice and Cinderella from WDW) I made her 21 outfits.
DD21months- 24 (Belle, and Cinderella from WDW. Seven smocked dresses) I made her 15 outfits.

DD4 kept on coming up with really cute ideas. My girls are total park piglets so it was nice to change clothes. They are really funny about being sticky or wet.

Here is the latest for DD.

Thanks for looking!
She looks so pretty- Great Job!
When I was pregnant with Megan the triple screen test came up wonky and they wanted to do an amnio to see if she had Down's. There was no way I would do a test that offered a 5% chance of miscarriage to see if she had Down's. We would have loved her the same so we didn't see the point to put her at risk.

They sent us to a hospital that had some fancy sonogram and measured all her limbs and told us it was unlikely she had Down's because all her measurements were normal. Unfortunately, the sonogram didn't reveal that she would have a bad attitude almost from birth! :rotfl:

I was pretty ambivalent about being pregnant. I did feel a little like being a host to a parasite but mostly I was excited about what waited for me at the end. I remembered the first time I was pregnant everyone treated me like a princess, don't lift that, let me help you, etc. The second time I was hauling an almost three year old to gymboree and preschool and no one offered to help with anything! :rotfl: I realized I was tougher than I thought!
My triple screen was fine with both the kids, but dds routine 20 week ultra sound showed a possible heart "issue"- which could be an indicator for downs, so I had the level 2 ultra sound- with the perinatologist, it was kinda scary waiting to be seen. So they looked at all my factors and the results from all the tests and said she most likely does not have downs but if I really wanted I could have an amnio- NO Thanks! BIG BIG needle into my belly- yeah I don't think so! We'll take what comes!! To me it was not worth risking the baby. And BTW she does not have downs!! But she is very Sassy

And I so agree about being pregnant the first time vs the second time. Only strangers still treat you like a delicate flower- that is when you alone of course!!
okay, now imma share something personal.... cause y'all are my 'puter friends. Those who have been here since the first thread know that my 4 daughters are all adopted (from my husbasnds 5th cousin once removed.) You also know that there are 8 other siblings we do not have. My oldest is 8 and is ADHD, ODD, OCD, bi-polar, depressed with high anxiety, has sensory issues, propreoceptive and vistibular delays and is LD. She is being medicated for the ADHD, and the bi-polar (I know some of you don't believe in medication children - please don't get upset with me untill you've walked a mile in my shoes) If some of you remember me sharing the story of her (around 2 months ago) thinking worms were invading her body. (frequent baths, wash hands 15 tiems a day, change bedding daily, picking skin, pulling out hair - its better, but not gone now.) Well last night the babysitter calls us and tells us that she took a knife and was threatning to kill herself with it. My sitter had to straddle her and pull the knife from her - OFF HER CHEST! We made it home in lightning speed. Anyway....about 3 months ago she was cutting her wrist with sharp pencils (this happened twice in school)...so our counselor has been working with us on everything. We see a counselor every other week, a psycologist once a month or every 2 weeks (depends on how things are going) we also see a ocupational theyrapis every other week, and have a group setting every other week. SO, meds are not alone, we are constantally learning how to deal with thought, emotions, and other ways of coping. I don't want any sympathy, just some prayers. I need to stay strong. It gets so hard. I also have 4 year old twins - one is special needs, and a 7 year old. It is so hard to give them all the time they need when i have my 8 year old needing me also. My Husband travels Monday- Friday and he took a vacation for this week comming up (thank god!) But I swear, Im gonna loose it. Im so sick of crying. My 8 year old says things like "Im going to live with my birth mom" "you don't love me" "call the Police, I hate it here". I've had her since she was 13 months old. It tears me up to hear these things. I just don't know what to do. I walk on pins and needles and try not to set her off. I hate calling my monm and/or sister for support when my husband is out of town, but I do. Please, just pray for me some strength, and pray for my baby to be okay. I don't want to take her to rescue crisis and have her admitted. I know she needs us right now. When she is not haveing an "eppisode" she is such a good kid, and can be so kind and gentle. But anyhow, thanks for letting me talk about this, its so much better when I get it out. :scared:
 And good luck- I have worked with an adult with many of the conditions you mentioned, it was at a group home. I can only imagine what she put her family through growing up. She loved them and they loved her but it is very difficult to deal with on a day to day basis not knowing if it is a good day or a bad day- or what might make it turn from a good to bad day! We're here when you need to vent!! :flower3: Good luck at the Dr.

I have to stop shopping :wizard: Look what I found now!!!
BTW, I went to JoAnnes yesterday and bought the last 2 yards of Minnie Dot for $5.
That is pretty- what are you going to make??
I have done quite a bit of damage on :wizard: this week. Bows, bling, smocked dresses and Beauty and the Beast fabric/sheets. Oh my I am done! LOL No more shopping for Aimee!

I bought three ribbon clippies. Belle, Giselle and Dorthy. I cannot wait to get them. I also picked up two beaded headbands. I am really excited to see if these are going to stay put.

Sorry the pic is huge but here is DD's new Belle tiara. If you search for Beauty and the Beast PRINCESS BELLE Boutique TIARA Bows you will see a new version. There are other tiara's and rings to match. TDF!

That is super cute- if only my dd would keep that on top of her head!! It is for the older dd right? I think our dds are about the same age. Mine will be 2 in July.

Good luck- I bet she never imagined one person would buy alot and now does want it cutting into the profit. It is a contract and she/they should have to follow it!!

Wow that is a ton!! How long was your trip? My ds doesn't mind being sticky but can't stand being even a little wet!! Kids are so funny!!

We tried some rag curls last night. It was really hard because my hair is long and thick, as is my older dd's. I did all rags (actually scraps of fabric) and dd did socks and some rags. Mone came out really curly, I had to brush the top and pin it up, hers came out so cute.

okay, now imma share something personal....

Listen, ever since you shared the worms story I have had a lot of respect for your bravery and the love you show in a difficult situation. You are amazing! I think about you and your family often and I hope it all works out.

And finally ..... a question for you loverly people living in Florida. We are possibly going to rent a house near Disney in Nov 2009. It has the option of pool heat and I was wondering if that is something you would recommend? It would be the first week of November. How cold does it get cause I don't want to jump into a pool with freezing water but $180 is a lot of money to pay to heat the pool if its not really needed. :flower3: Thanks for the help!

We live in the Tampa area and I don't get into the pool without the heater on. Our pool doesn't get much sun and stays cold even in the summer without the heater. I am a wussy Floridian-born cracker, however, so you might not find it that cold. There are cold snaps that come in November so it could go from 80's to 60's like that. HTH!

I gave in to peer pressure this wekend and bought one of the disney store pettiskirts. DD wears a 4, but we bought the 5/6 b/c the 4 was SHORT on her. I got some rinestone crown iron on's at walmart for $2 and put one on a tank and one on a tee for her to wear with it. Oh and I really scored on tees to applique on at walmart. I got the hanes tagless ones for $1 each!!!!! I had 2 and went to check out. When they rang up for $1 I went back and got all they had in DD's size. Got a total of 9. It was only on the white ones but I figure white matches everything.

Great deal on the shirts! I remember finding them for $3 and snatching up a few.

I was just looking through the photobucket account and saw some things made with Nightmare Before Christmas fabric. Anybody know where I can get my hands on some???? That DH's favorite and I would love to make something for DD out of it.

I believe that people were using sheet sets to make outfits from, but I don't know for sure. I do know that I have never seen NBC fabric.

Cute! Sorry about the buttonhole. I love that a-line pattern, you are making me want to make another!

Our custom total: I brought 2 for each day and there was one not worn because she wanted to wear one twice. We never changed at the parks and only did one character meal.
