Purty stinkin' nice everyday collection there, missie! You go, mama!

LOVE the name stories! Keep them coming....btw, I LOVE the name Declan (IRA member or non)...had Saylorkins been a boy, Declan was a name I'd chosen for our "list"...dh is half Irish and I am FASCINATED by Irish names....Maeve Binchy is a fave of mine as well...just thought I'd throw that in.... :rolleyes1

Everything looks fabulous! Too much to quote! So much to CASE!!

Oh, and

Lori!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! The outfit came today when I was out to dinner. Brianna tore open ALL of my mail looking for stuff for HER, and is currently sleepign in the outfit. The babysitter told me about it, adn asked if it was OK, since she couldn't pry it away. :lmao:

Your package is all labeled and read to go. I felt a lot better today, so it should go intot he mail tomorrow. I'm sorry it took so long. :sad2:

oh my what a day. I am finally sitting down to look at the pages. geesshhh drama at the cheer place tonight! Wheeww. I am looking now at the pages. be back!
Lori

Is there not drama at your cheer place every night? I need to join your gym. I don't know how much more drama I can take.

We had a 1.5 hour team meeting a few weeks ago. To address parent behavior. :confused3 One mom even said the coach needed to be easier on her daughter and stop praising the other girls in front of her and that "she is sick of hearing how good Leanne (my daughter) is!" I actually thought it was funny. We have a 40 year old women who is jealous of a 10 year old little girl. Sad!

YIKES!!! I coach competitive cheer squads and the other coaches and I had to put a stop to parents coming in to practice at all! It was the little girls' idea actually. It was too distracting for them. Two mothers actually got into a fist fight in the parking lot. :sad2: Their little girls were clinging to each other, screaming at their mom's to STOP fighting. It was SO awful. Once we put a stop to parents coming in, the girls started to have fun again. For awhile there, almost the entire squad came to practice in TEARS b/c of the "pep talks" they had gotten from parents before hand. The kids would stand on the floor petrified, looking at their moms and not the coaches. It got to be a safety issue.

I'm sorry your little girl has been a target for an unhappy mom. Being talented can bring ugly comments. Tell her to keep shining!! :goodvibes

These moms need to take up sewing...and Dis-ing...maybe they'd calm down some!;)

The whole outfit is very cute- sorry you had to make a second top. Maybe she'll end up with 2 peter pan outfits-:lmao:
It is cute- glad she decided to keep it :rotfl: :headache:

Ok first I have to say that I am once again jealous that you have bare ground in your yard!! The temps are going below 0 again tonight!!! Where is spring!!!!

Ok back to norahs everyday wear- it is very lovely I really like the double layer ruffle on the top.
Lily has a pair and I love them! They are so cute. They are getting too small now though. I should've bought a larger size. I bought them at endless.com and they have free overnight shipping and I GOT THEM ON SALE! Since then I check back and haven't found quite as good a deal, but I was very happy with endless.com
Here they are, not a great photo but it was already in photobucket :rotfl: You can't tell but they are high-tops. I am surprised that none of the little sequins have fallen off. They are still in EXCELLENT condition--probably a size 5? :rolleyes1

IMG_0953.jpg
A size 5- You don't say :rolleyes1 dd is just growing into a size 5
They look very cute- I just saw my very first lelli kelly commercial this evening- how coincidental:laughing: And I was thinking those shoes are so darling- I bet they are expensive- :rotfl2:

I've been lurk... er, I mean, admiring everyone's work here for a week or so and thought perhaps I should jump in and introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Heather and I'm a proud mama of two sons and a daughter. And a huge Disney fan. All the beautiful work you've been posting has inspired me to start sewing again for our upcoming trip. My daughter thanks you all for this. The jury is still out on my husband's opinion. ;)

:bday: party: pixiedust: to you on your birthday- Angela!!!
Hope you had a great day!!!

You've just gotta love those pressed in creases! Very cute too!

I wish the sun would shine her for a few minutes!

Behind once again! I did admire the finished Peter Pan: great job Elisa! And those sparkly shoes, I had never heard of them but that's a lot of money for little shoes. I'd better not let Megan see them or I'll be up all night with a glue gun and glitter!

Here is what I made while the monkey was at school. She said she hates it because it has buttons. I offered to send it to one of our little online friends who might appreciate it and then she said she would keep it. Whew!

This is a redneck version of Tom's Tink masterpiece. Besides the pillowcase, it was made with all leftovers from previous projects so I was happy. And I covered some buttons for the first time, which was fun, if not welcomed.

Very cute! You did a good job of redneckin' that pattern!
Gotta love covered buttons! The only bad part is that Leighanna insists on helping me make them. Most of the time she is not content with just the two that I need. I have found the buttons in her room with a very crude cut out circle next to them. She does really well, until she has to press the back into them. She just doesn't have quite enough push to get them set.

Elisa, your Peter Pan outfit is amazing too! I lost it when I was trying to catch up!
I am still afraid to to faces! I need to get over my fear and try again!
Yours look so nice!

Hi, Heather! Welcome! Got to warn you though this thread is VERY addictive and very shortly you too will be dressing every you know in Boutique Disney Inspired Clothing ...:lmao: :rotfl2: Even your Pets.....Nana

I have finally finished something new:

This is my first ever attempt at applique (albeit a pathetic one):

I figured on DD wearing this over a white top, with white tights as it is still way too cold here :)

Sadly, it's this way with boys' sports too. I love my son's competitive soccer team, but the parents: sheesh! Why do some parents take their kids' sports so seriously?

It is cute- glad she decided to keep it :rotfl: :headache:

Me too! I was really worried for a minute!

Welcome! You husband will approve when you get to Disney and everyone comments on how cute your daughter's outfits are. Then he'll understand!

Aww, sweet Leighanna just wants to help! So I guess it's fortunate that Megan doesn't like buttons!

Umama:
Megan thinks Norah's top is so cute. She is running around singing "Dora for Norah," over and over. She thinks she is so clever that they rhyme!

As a former competitive and HS cheer coach (in Ohio-near you) I can telly ou, no matter how much a coach tries to avoid there being any drama, oh man! It is always in the girls and parents. I must admit, this is one of the reasons I am not coaching right now. I love it, but I needed a break. Maybe I will return some day, but for now, I SO enjoy the no Cheer mom and girls drama LOL:rotfl: But, I must say, I did have some fantastic girls and parents that have become great friends of mine.
But, I will tell you, take the drama with a grain of salt. When she is done with it all, you will look back and laugh your rear off!!:lmao:

I think they are all great! The skirt appliques are fantastic and I especially love the Tink on the white top. That paisleyish print is TDF!!

Great everyday outfit!! Well, it stinks that Miss Norah was freezing, but I'm totally jealous that you can see the dead grass in your yard! I'll be happy when we have something besides white, white, and mud spattered white...

Dude. how did you know that? my PARENTS forgot.

Thanks, though. :)

Don't worry, I'm not a stalker or anything. :scared1: Shannon posted a birthday thread on her board and I saw it.

Well, I'm home today with DD who has a stomach bug. I cut out a bunch of purse pieces last night, so maybe I can whip up a few while she rests.
