Behind once again! I did admire the finished Peter Pan: great job Elisa! And those sparkly shoes, I had never heard of them but that's a lot of money for little shoes. I'd better not let Megan see them or I'll be up all night with a glue gun and glitter!

Here is what I made while the monkey was at school. She said she hates it because it has buttons. I offered to send it to one of our little online friends who might appreciate it and then she said she would keep it. Whew!

This is a redneck version of Tom's Tink masterpiece. Besides the pillowcase, it was made with all leftovers from previous projects so I was happy. And I covered some buttons for the first time, which was fun, if not welcomed.

That dress is so cute. My DD has forgotten about the shoes and has not seen any of the commercials so I have been off the hook. I guess if she wanted them than I would have her help me make them just so she'll be happy.

You had me at "Redneck Version"! It's CUTE!!!! Good use of scraps too!
I bought the button thingies to cover too. Haven't done it yet because I'm skeer'd to try new things.

You KNOW you tidy'd your counter tops before taking the pictures! ;)

That's cute for everyday wear. and poor baby let that girl put some pants on :lmao:

Thanks! Well I'll cross my fingers that Megan never hears of those shoes because it will be all over. Today I was playing Schoolhouse Rock for them and we found "Where the Money Goes." I told them to pay close attention!

:) I try. When I was putting it together, I was thinking this is redneck all the way. Well, compared to Tom's version anyway.

Oh, and the Canon PowerShot (hello Heather!) does not take the best shots indoors but it was thunderstorming so I turned on all the lights in the kitchen and hoped for the best. They still look a little yellow to me.

The button thingies were sooooo easy! I was surprised, so go ahead, don't be a chicken!

I love this!!!! Is this the Vida pattern or one that you made up?

Actually, it's CarlaC's a-line pattern. I just cut it up in squares to make it look like the other pattern. It's a product of my mad math skillz!

Cute everyday outfit! Dora is perfect for playwear. And your creases are very nice!

Has anyone heard of these shoes? Sydni is dying to have a pair and she is doing chores at home to earn the money for them! They are VERY expensive! I was just wondering if anyone owned any of these! I would like your opinions on them if so! TIA!!!!!!

Lily has a pair and I love them! They are so cute. They are getting too small now though. I should've bought a larger size. I bought them at endless.com and they have free overnight shipping and I GOT THEM ON SALE! Since then I check back and haven't found quite as good a deal, but I was very happy with endless.com
Here they are, not a great photo but it was already in photobucket :rotfl: You can't tell but they are high-tops. I am surprised that none of the little sequins have fallen off. They are still in EXCELLENT condition--probably a size 5? :rolleyes1

Freezing? My kids all had their swimsuits on and were running around outside last Friday! :scared1: The snow did not cover the ground, it was just a few patches! :rotfl: :rotfl: That is what I get for talking to the neighbor in the front yard for a few minutes. They even put poor Lily in a swimming suit! Love the outfit! And those are great photos of Norah! She must've been in a modeling mood!

They appear to run fairly true to size...at least I think so. My step daughter would sure fuss if they didn't fit comfortably! They also seem to be VERY supportive and comfortable. (Better be for the price!!!)

Her grandparents got them at Nordstrom I believe...

You can also find them online! Shoes.com has them...and onlineshoes.com. Sometimes you can find an online coupon for those sites and get a pretty decent deal! Don't buy them from Zappos though...highest prices on the web b/c they have "free" overnight shipping.

Good luck!! :goodvibes

Check ebay for Lelli Kelly shoes too. Walmart also has a version of them too.

I didn't know that Wal-Mart sold any like that I will be looking again.
Before they started selling them in the US you could get them for a fair price on ebay. I'm not sure about now.

Thanks everyone! I normally would not pay this much for shoes, but like I said she is working very hard for the money , so technically she is buying them!:upsidedow Also, this is the first thing that she saw on a commercial and didn't forget about it the very next second! She actually saw the commercial 3 days ago and my dh said, don't worry she will forget about them! Well, this is not the case! It is all she talks about! And I guess it's okay to splurge every once in a while, right?:confused3

Wish I needed a size 5!;) Thanks for the info! I really do think they are cute! And I will ask you too, do they run true to size? I am trying to figure out what size I would need to order!

I love this, very cute for playing in and Gabi is super into Dora right now so I totally have to get some Dora fabric I guess. You should see her bed, her room is all pink and shabby chic girlie and her pillowcase has a giant pic of Diego on it and says she's an "animal rescuer"

I found the Vida pattern on Fabric Hound.com but I am having trouble with their site so I can't order the pattern. I might have to CASE Stephres again.

I would say they are pretty true to size. Lily is now wearing a size 6 in most things and we can barely squish her feet into these. I checked, they are a size 21 which equals a size 5.

Thank you sooo much! Now at least I know what size to order!

Tessa has a pair of those. They are very cute.

Thanks! I think they are very cute, but I have never even thought of spending that much for one pair of shoes! However, she is earning the money and I think she will appreciated them more that way! Do you know where they buy them? Or how true to size they are?
Amazon has them sometimes.

How warm is it there???? It got up to 32 here today. Balmy... They are saying we could get a snow storm tomorrow. Someone forgot to tell the weahterman that it is suppose to be WARMING UP!

Do you have the name of Expo? Maybe we could look it up on the internet and see if it's going to be in one of our areas?

I don't think this one travels, although I am sure there are some that do.
The one I attended was the Sewing and Stitchery Expo....
http://www.sewexpo.com/

But I found this also....

Oh, we get the same catalog! I love Chasing Fireflies, too bad almost all of it too expensive for me! I did get my girls the polka dot Lola et Moi dresses from last year (they have them again this year too) and loved them! Beautiful clothes!

This is the first time I received this catalog, and they are expensive, but it was fun to look though and figure out what I wanted to CASE. The Bubble Skirts were the other thing that caught my eye.

What?! Tom did a Tink set? I must have missed it. Tom, could you post it again? I'll go search photobucket...Nevermind, I found it. :upsidedow

oh my what a day. I am finally sitting down to look at the pages. geesshhh drama at the cheer place tonight! Wheeww. I am looking now at the pages. be back!
