1). BLT turns 5 on August 4, 2014
2). The Boardwalk Entertainment District offers "Let's Get Rockin! Totally Interactive Band" on Thursday nights in the Atlantic Dance Hall. You can play the guitar, bass, drums or keyboard and even assume the role of lead singer while the Tom Casey band plays back-up. Doors open at 9pm and continues until 1:30am. There is a $5 cover charge for others, but FREE for DVC members and up to 3 guests each. Admission is limited to those 21 or older.
3). "Pool hopping is NOT available May 23 - 26, June 28 - July 7, Aug. 29 - Sept 1, Nov 24 - 29, and Dec 20, 2014 - Jan 4, 2105. Pool hopping is never allowed at BLT's Bay Cove Pool, all pools at AKL/AKV, Stormalong Bay, all pools at AoA and at all DL resorts in California. Additional block-out dates may be added based on capacity issues.
Pools are available only to registered Members and Guests staying at that resort (along with those staying with them in their rooms), as well as Members utilizing their pool-hopping perk. Pool usage isn't available to Guests who are staying at other resorts or who live locally."
4). At Disney's Vero Beach Resort, a "turtle walk" program is offered to Members on Monday and Thursday evenings (8:30pm) by the Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC). Members may pre-book at dvc.seaturtlewalks.org using the booking code provided in Member files.
5). The 2014 Disney Vacation Club Condominium Association Meeting is scheduled to take place on Dec. 11, 2014 at the Walt Disney World Resort. For updates and more details, watch DVCMember.com . The specific location has not yet been announced. Members will also receive notice along with the 2015 maintenance fee proposal for their resort(s) via mail.
