We got into the park this morning at 6:50 and stood in the line for FJ until between almost 9:00 because it wasn't running. They finally let us walk through the castle, and that was it. The area was covered up by the time the ride started running again. I understand that these things happen, but I'm sure disappointed after spending so much money for Hard Rock and making sure we were there so early (not counting how cold it was!). :guilty:

Sorry to hear about your experience this morning. :guilty: I'd be way beyond disappointed! Looks like you have some nice weather coming up, so hopefully if you decide to try it again, things will go better.

We will try again. We're just going to do the single rider line, and that should help. DD and her husband made it onto the ride later in the day and loved it. DH is enjoying the room keys (he doesn't wait well). This is his first time to be with us when we've stayed onsite. :)

Hope you got on this time. We were there on Saturday...went first thing in the morning and waited in line for FJ. I think I liked the inside of the castle more than the ride itself...I thought it was amazing! my 14 year old son loved the ride portion and the castle. We went back later in the day...around 6:30 to check the lines and see the HP area in the dark. I don't know if it was the weather...it had been raining pretty good that morning...but there was NO line whatsoever for FJ...we literally walked right through the castle and onto the ride. Now my other son went back yesterday (he's there with his HS marching band), and ciouldn't even get into the HP area, let alone any of the attractions. I am so disappointed for him becasue I know he would have been amazed by it. Oh well...maybe next time!

We made it on last night, and it was a wonderful ride! Since we had already done the castle tour, the single rider line was great (not in line very long at all). :)

Was your son's band in the Macy's parade? We enjoyed the parade, and the kids in the bands were great too!
