Disappointed in Transformers

I mean, it was alright, but it was just basically moving from one 3D screen to another. A total Spiderman clone, but I think Spiderman does it better. Transformers just felt too chaotic, and didn't have that same kind of mix of physical effects that Spiderman does.

Anyone else feel that way, or does everyone else think it's just totally awesome?

My husband and I felt the same way..too much going on, hard to follow.Spiderman was much much better

Lots of people feel like you do, but lots feel that Transformers is way better.

We also liked Spiderman a LOT more. We rode Transformers once and Spiderman at least half a dozen times, if not more. When we return in May, if the lines are more than 15 minutes with Express Pass, we'll probably skip Transformers altogether. It was "okay", but to both of us, Spiderman was just a lot more fun.

They really are both good, but I favor Transformers, the pacing was much faster.. really spider man on steroids as someone else said, and the tall elevator screen rooms were amazing.

Both are good complements to each other. Transformers is faced paced, non stop action that focuses on amazing more realistic imagery, it has some physical sets that complement it, but the ride movements are spot on perfect. Spiderman has a slower pace, more comic-book like, with more practical effects. Both rides amazing and neither really takes away from other.

Maybe we need to give it another go. We'd waited nearly an hour for it because it kept breaking down, so perhaps our expectations were too high. We'd also tried to ride it the day before and after waiting in line 45 minutes it broke and they said it would be another hour, so we left and did something else. I may have set the bar too high after all that frustration (versus pretty much just walking right on to Spiderman over and over again).

This is good to know. We will only have one day at Universal and I wan't sure if I should include this on the must do list. Will leave it off but if we get all our must dos done and its a short wait we might give it a go.

First time I rode it I felt everything was too fast and too much going on and that Spiderman was much better. Then I rode it again a little later and thought WOW this really is a little Better than Spiderman. Then I rode Spiderman and thought, I don't know maybe Spiderman is better. Bottom line is I loved both and thought they were both totally awesome. And being a total comic book geek from way back Spiderman should have been the clear winner

It has a single rider line, so there's that.

I loved them both. I personally thought Transformers was more "life like" and the images were sharper. I don''t even know anything about the Transformers but loved it anyway.

I think Spider Man in IOA is better as well.

We too prefer Spiderman. The first time I rode Transformers, I thought it was just a clone of the Spiderman ride, but faster paced.

I got to ride Transformers while it broke once. Luckily I didn't get stuck on the ride, but halfway through a scene the audio stopped, and the majority of the rest of the videos weren't playing (and I found out where one of the elevators are), and then towards the end it synced back up and finished ok. It was an interesting experience to say the least lol.
